oh and you can end fights with leg kicks, and in pride rules you can soccer kick, stomp, and knee to the head at any time instead of only as finishers like in EA MMA. Also, although a very small change, you can also break your opponents shin when you check their leg kick (yea you can check kicks)

They most likely wont bother anymore anyway.

I hope THQ will get everything that is required to properly showcase PRIDE though. It is nice that they got Bas and Quadros as commentary which is already a huge factor. But they need more! I hope they get Lenne Hardt in.

If we dont hear anything during E3 about a possible sequel then it is safe to assume EA has dropped this franchise.

It says the announcement is authentic, so I'm guessing Lenne Hardt is in, I mean * if they got Bas and Stephen they truly must have gotten Lenne

In the end no matter how much polish they put on that THQ makes fake POS games like Raw vs Smackdown and the UFC's will always feel like a WWE game. Will I buy this UFC? No! I already turned down a chance to go work in the community and pre testing because the only things going for the Undisputed franchise is the name value. Game play is horrible and the mechanics haven't been changed since Raw vs Smackdown on the original playstation and xbox.

lmao stfu have you played EA MMA? it's a * game that is repetitive as *. Atleast the undisputed game was fun and still holds a huge fanbase that to this day plays the game, go visit the fight card mode in EA MMA and look at how many ppl are playing. THe THQ team actually bothered, the implemented the true PRIDE mode and so many features, you can finish fights with leg kicks, you can check the kick and break your shins, details *, details....EA MMA had none of that.

lol I'm not married to any developer team. I'm saying the truth, EA MMA could have been great, but it wasn't. Have you seen the dance move everyone does by flicking spamming the parry button? lol I try to play EA MMA from time to time, but it just isn't fun. It's still one of the best looking sports game out there, though.

And are you not excited for a PRIDE mode with Bas and stephen announcing along with the ability to soccer kick, head stomp, knee, at anytime in the game, also with authentic presentation from PRIDE, including entrances and LENE HARDT? The thought of my good friend SQ being on commentary is awesome. But I'm not going to get excited for a POS game engine that has always been crap. Until THQ realizes they have issues with that engine the same game flaws will be the game. From what I've already saw in person on Undisputed 3 they still haven't learned their lesson and don't give a shot what the community says about it.

So no I'm not bitter about my choice. I choose to stay with EA because they at least listen to the community and while some things can't be fixed they are listening and trying to give the community what they want.

as long as THQ steals the TSC control set up like EA stole THQ's CC set up then I'll buy it.

EA has selective hearing so yeah they listened but only to cetain ppl and to the wrong ppl at that. On top of that they only listened in the beginning. Where are their ears now?

haha well said, same is for the THQ team as well, they listen in the beginning but don't have a continued support
