How come when people seem to voice what they think on here to the MODS they get hidden, but they can say what they want. This will most likely get hidden or deleted before you guys see it but i want to see what the MODS say about it.

Not sure what you are talking about. You have made 32 posts here and not a single one has been hidden for a TOS though more than a few of them have been critical (ie "the game is ruined"). We try to read as much of the forum as possible and there are many, many negative posts I read each and every day. Posts are hidden only for personal attacks, spam, starting flame wars, and a variety of other TOS violations.

The forum exists so people can voice their opinions. Negative constructive opinions are actually highly valued because they can lead to positive change. As for the stuff that is hidden, most people appreciate the cleaning mods do so they don't have to wade through the muck (about 20 "buy our shoes" spams were hidden today) and also that people feel this is a safe place to come to voice their opinions, both positive and negative, without fear of being personally attacked.

You seem to spend your time either complaining about a game that you don't yet own, or baiting the mods. That may not be true, but thats the way your posts come over to me.

I'm sure you have some very valid complaints and arguments, but the problem is if you make negative posts every single time, you make it harder for everyone to appreciate the more valid complaints when you make them.

Why should he have to be positive if he doesnt like the game changes, not everyone has to be positive would you be positive if your boss in work uped your hours and dropped your pay , but i would say from my experiences the mods are fair ive posted nearly 200 non positive reactions and i havent been erased /termintated of yet

i would think smirnoffs post would be considered a personal attack. putting just my opinion at the end of a character attack isnt justified

The OP was a character attack on the moderators. It's a shame that some here have taken their AM complaints to the level of attacking the mods and Tour players. This is one of the very few official video game message boards where they actually encourage freedom of speech even in cases where the speech is negative. Most of them now only want you there if you're a positive glowing fanboy who sees no faults and only praises the devs. Most of the people running around from thread to thread attacking the mods and other players would have long since been banned at most forums.

I think the mods are showing incredible professional restraint in not just banning these posters.

and if i cant say something without it being positive why is their even a forum to talk about the game. are we supposed to just bow down to the ea people and praise them even if we think the game is crap

Of course you don't have to be positive all the time. Its natural that there will be things that all of us probably dislike, or things that we would like to see improved.

But when people just constantly criticise a game that hasn't even been released, or criticise the mods who give up their free time to help us all here, thats why I thought I'd post my thoughts on the subject.

If anyone reads that as a personal attack by me, then so be it, knock yourselves out.

I'm just trying to inject some positivity as I don't subscribe to all the negativity and mod baiting that some people seem to relish.

i have now had one hidden but no one will see this because the minute i named nightcrawler it somehow just dissapered. it is bogus how i just say what i think and i get hidden. and i didnt even have a TOS rule broken

Just skipping through the Tiger forums and I thought I'd offer the same response I've given many folks with similar questions.

All you have to do is be constructive. You can be as negative as you want, so long as you are respectful, mature, and friendly with your criticisms. Avoid insults, foul language, personal attacks on the developers, and blanket statements like: "this game sucks, it's completely broken," and then fail to elaborate as to why. Also helps to offer tips and suggestions for how you would like to see some of your issues with the game corrected.
