Since my entire last thread was deleted i will do it again
It will show they just take things off because they can not because they see a rule broken

the only reason i made my post is because during last years game when the league vs. league tournies were being played, anytime a beer league member came on this forum and made a post they were heavily criticized by most regulars here and nothing was ever done unless we commented to the mods. they left the posts up for everybody to see and then there is a situation like this where people show a disinterest in the direction the game is going and what they think are flaws in the game and all comments are put to an abrubt halt. some probably were but a lot of negative comments are opinions not TOS violations

No, I don't. Opinions critical ofthe game are NOT removed unless the opinion contains personal attacks toward other users and/or Mods. EA and the Mod Tam are NOT tolerating personal attacks of ANY kind here, a point we have been making here for months. These personal attacks are going to stop, one way or another.

I really don't get what the big deal with personal attacks is. I mean come on, this is the internet. I want to be able to say whatever the hell I want. I really don't care what people say about me, let alone in the internet. I don't think many people here care about what others have to say about them either. Are personal verbal attacks outlawed in the real world? No. Why should they not be allowed in the internet when 98% of the people here haven't even met one another in person. If I don't like someone I would like to be able to say something mean to them for the plain fact that I don't like them and there's something in the constitution called freedom of speech. As long as the comment is not discriminatory based on race, religion, or sexual orientation, it shouldn't be taken seriously. This should be the beauty of the internet, be able to confront someone without getting physical. Conflict adds interest.This forum is censored like a communist regime, this is why so many people don't post here.

Because they start flames/unnecessary arguments and are AGAINST THE RULES (TOS) of this forum. If you can't abide by those rules, find someplace else to post because this is a forum for users to post comments and feedback about TW the game, not attack each other. Just because you are free to do so in other private forums that you participate in does not mean it is okay here. To avoid any further confusion, there is a link to the TOS below and at the bottom of every forum page. I suggest you familiarize yourself with it and abide by it so that your posts are not deleted.

This is what I'm talking about. Mikke Weird just posted after me and there was absolutely nothing about his post that violated the TOS. Yet you deleted it because you just plain didn't like his opinion. It's just flat out ridiculous, I really hope the EA forums get shut down.

He made yet another unnecessary personal comment and I have stated time and again that this kind of nonsense is going to stop. His "opinion" is not valid if he is going to attack others with personal comments. There is NO REASON for making any such comments. Stick to the topic of discussing the GAME or don't post. It really is that simple.

He didn't mention any names, I don't see how it could be personal if no names are mentioned. Maybe he offended you, but that doesn't mean he was personally attacking you. By the way, this is the off topic forum, so we don't have to post things about the game, that is why this thread got moved in the first place. If you think that saying "some of the members and moderators in these forums are thick-skined" is a personal attack then you should be deleting a lot of posts because I've seen a lot worse than that and many of them come from you guys themselves. I really find this double standard annoying and frustrating for us users that try to post things that get deleted. I've been lucky to haven't got a post deleted but I know many who get their posts deleted for no good reason.

theres a difference between saying "this game is terrible, the ea developers should be ashamed in themselves for ruining the game of 2011"

then saying "i'm not liking this game, the randomness of the landing circle brings more luck into the equation than anything, i like hitting with turbo and spin and not being punished"

the main reason most of the posts are deleted are because of a lack of respect

It is basically saying the same exact thing with different tones. If you're not happy about something I don't see the problem with using a negative tone. I see many posts that can be viewd as disrespectful but are not removed. even this could be viewed as direspectful. The only thing is that if you're going to remove posts for a reason such as disrespect, you've got to stay consistent and remove all of the disrespectful quotes, not just the ones you don't agree with. This inconsistency creates bias, and this bias creates overall problems for the forum plain and simple. I can see why the mods are losing their patience, but it is purely the result of this bias I'm talking about. If the forums were run perfectly smooth we wouldn't be discussing this.

No you don't. I am not going to argue this with you. Either abide by the rules of the forum or don't post. We've made it VERY CLEAR what is acceptable and what is not.

Wo are you to tell me what I know and what I don't know? Maybe you don't want to argue with me because you just don't want to deal with the ugly truth of these forums. Someone has to bring it up sometime and it is your responsibility to deal with the issues that many of us share for the simple fact that you are at a possision of influence in this forum. Don't try shoving the problems under the rug because they will come again and backfire eventually. As far as the things you have made clearly acceptable in these forums include

do not post anything that could insult any of the moderators

follow the TOS by all means (doesn't include mods)

do not complain about the game unless it's a tour pro issue

do not argue with us because we speak the truth

the only time it is OK to agree is if you agree to disagree

There's a major difference between offering constructive criticism by complaining about a feature and bashing a specific person or the devs because you dislike a certain feature. The former being perfectly acceptable and the latter being a TOS violation. There is no bias, and I've always seen Tim as being fair and balanced while still offering his opinion which is perfectly acceptable for a volunteer mod.

I'm not the only one who feels this this way about this issue. It is clear that the forum is biased. You might think that this forum is fair because, you happen to agree with their point of view, which benefits you in the end. You think that it is all fair and balanced but the truth is that it is far from that as proven by all the arguing going on recently about this same subject. If the forum were completely fair there wouldn't be an uprising by amateur players voicing their concerns about the forum. I'm just looking at the big picture here. I don't know any of the moderators personally so I the only way I can judge their motives is by reading their posts. If I get banned, so be it, but at least I want to get my voice heard.
