Hey all you BF2142 players/looking to buy the game. I know EA is working on getting a new great game out but really they just left BF2142 to die?!!!!!! Come on guys, letting us lag on all of our awards! I know I'm ticked off. What do you say, should EA pull their thumbs, no their heads out of their butts.
I know my account might get banned, but I don't give a dang, EA needs to change.

I've seen them work harder on Battlefield play for free! For crying out loud.

I dont think they let it die.

If they let it die they wouldn't of just released a patch. BF2142 is an older game. IT has alot of maps and little bugs. The only reason you say they are working better on play for free more is because its new and has little maps.

In time they will slow down development for Play for free and people will say their letting it die.

It happens. A game dosnt keep going for ever.

EA might have a small team working for BF2142. Thats just because servers are still live and the game was good.

Just enjoy it while you can

the op has a valid point. sure they released the 1.51 patch....2, count 2 years after it was supposed to be released. also, were you around for the great lag about 1½ years ago? it was a pb issue that went on for MONTHS. that drove lots of players away. the leaderboard no longer updates, either. EA never has given the 2142 community and player base much respect. but EA looks at numbers, not loyalty. their are larger player bases in other bf series, but none w/ a fan base as devoted.

I've got to be honest. It really hurts when I go into BF2142 and see the lack of good servers. specially the lack of Northern strike servers period. That's the BF2142 I use to play all day everyday. Dam I miss running around liepzig...

I think if BF2142 was sold in steam like BF2 is it would've never died. Cause we all know how big the community there is. But, nooooo. I think that's what could've saved BF2142 and it's never to late. They can still release it there and still that community will pick it up and BF2142 would b saved

i believe it was supposed to be released in steam when the 1.51 patch came out.

why do you drive on the parkway and park on the driveway? it's another of lifes great mysteries, and makes no sense to me. i know nothing of coding, so i haven't a clue if there's some real reason or if they just never bothered.

well if they can make the game on mac then it is as easy to make the expansion
