(This was previously deleted along with the rest of the sick tips forum)

I think it's time that we have a compilation of every single hidden or secret location in this game. To be included, the location must be closed (you can't just walk in there), highly unique (bonus points if there are strong hints of it being placed there intentionally), and non-intuitive to locate (meaning things like 'outside the parkade', 'waterfront beach skating' or 'sticky roof above Monster' would not be included). The description would include the latest date this area was found (when the earliest known footage of it was released), instructions on how to get there, and color indicating the difficulty of getting there (blue - easy, green - medium, red - hard).

Some glitches you have to know to be able to access most of these:

Loading screen room - January 2009

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zfpy7MXrHDA He works or used to work for EA. Yep.

Lower Rez bridge - early February 2009

Teleport to The Bench own the spot. Turn right and no-comply up the ledge above the sidewalk. Turn right again and walk until you find an opening in the fence. Walk through it and no-comply up to the bridge.

Behind the peak - late February 2009

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rjvEchTbgMA little no-comply trickery. Or skip down to the underneath the peak instructions and when you're underneath the inaccessible spot.. ollie.

Solid rooftop in parkade - early March 2009

Skydive from the top of the parkade to the roof of the building that says "banking center" near a glass skyscraper. Wallride down the glass skyscraper and see if you can not bail at the bottom.

Upper SV Stadium platforms - early March 2009

Teleport to any ramp in the SV Stadium and skydive to one of the platforms visible far up above.

Invisible floor above the Matrix - late March 2009

Teleport to the Razor's Edge own the spot and skydive above the area surrounding the spot.

Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory bridge - late March 2009

No-comply from the water channel area to a small solid strip of the bridge visible at its end, the one shown in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_BCMeqR-Wk. It's literally enormous and there may or may not be a couple interesting spots along the way if you open your eyes.

First skatable lake - early April 2009

Teleport to murderhorn. Turn 180° and no-comply above the wall ahead of you to reach a small strip of spawnable land. Set a spawn point there and try to slowly skate through the intersection of the lake's surface and the grassy area near the hill.

There is an alternate route that requires no glitching in my skydive video.

Community center bridge - early April 2009

Glitch outside of the community center (just skydive for god's skate). Find the narrow road at the south-east part of the map that leads to a view of New San Vanelona. While skating towards the end of that road, look at the east wall until you find an opening. Go through that opening and follow the path until you reach a grassy area. Keep going right through the field until you reach an end of a road that also has a view of New San Vanelona. The rest of that road is not solid. Go down the road hugging the fence. On foot, jump down into the road and you will be land on an invisible surface inside of a bridge there.

The library - Early November 2009

Teleport to the library. Find an overhead you can no-comply onto on the outside of the building. Turn your back to the wall there and freedom glitch.

Underneath the peak - Late November 2009

No-comply up to the tallest roof near the S.K.A.T.E spot in the peak. Freedom glitch through it. Grab your board as you go through the invisible wall connecting the house to the other underground parts of the peak. Explore the area, it's breathtaking!

Hidden community center rooms - Early December 2009

Go to the subway station in the community center. As you exit the hall and enter the actual subway, walk up to the wall to your right or left (parallel to the entrance) and stand with your back to it. Freedom glitch.

If you end up falling into darkness, use the free cam to locate where these rooms are and try to aim for them!

Outside the training facility - February 2011

Teleport to the training facility, call big black, walk up to the wall right in front of the entrance, set a spawn point hugging the wall with part of your back to it (literally do small steps towards it to make sure you're touching), freedom glitch. You may need to adjust your angle towards the wall slightly to the left or right.

Calling big black is necessary because without him around you're not able to set spawn points so close to walls. It just is. I have no idea why either.

Underneath lower Cougar Mountain and second skateable lake - April 2011

Go to lower Cougar Mountain (slightly further down of the Rock the Gap spot) and freedom glitch. The grassy ground underneath is not spawnable (you can't bail on it and respawn there). But it's skatable if you drop into it without bailing. Explore the underneath area with the free cam and see if you can find a place that is spawnable from which you skate into the unspawnable ground without having to bail. I was personally extremely surprised when I found that place. And this is where I will stop.

There are at least several dozens locations I love to add, but sadly they fail one or more of the requirements above so I'll leave finding them to those with a truly hardcore interest. I had incredible times exploring and bending this game and I dream someone some day would also get to experience it!

Comment if you want to propose something new to be on there, want further help, seen any of these before the listed date, etc.

Nice! I tried that skydive and no-comply glitch and it did not work. Know the secret on the PS3?

Grab a video of your attempts at both and post it here.

I don't exactly know how to post video but I can tell you what I did.

-Skydive-
I always skate goofy and I dropped the board. I turned what I though was 90 degrees with the right analog stick, I jumped and hit grab and triangle at the same time and bailed in place. My board did fly away a few times.

-No-Comply-
I barely held L2 like you said I no-comply and i landed it with no bail.

Did you throw it with R2? Dropping implies you used L2.
Mage505 wrote:I turned what I though was 90 degrees with the right analog stick,

Make sure you turned clockwise and not anti-clockwise. That matters more than the angle.

Hold grab rather then hitting it. And hit triangle only after you start holding grab. Watch the real time clip with the buttons appearing on the screen as they are pressed to get a sense of the timing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9EcFqdkCP8&t=1m1s.

The timing for those two buttons (grabbing in particular) is challenging and takes some practice to get down.

Hold it until you're on the brink of grabbing your board. It should be as close as possible for now (you'll get some leeway later on)
