Well I have been trying to connect to EADM for more than a month but I don't know why each time I enter my account and my password it gives me an error and it doesn't let me enter. The same happens with Origin. So the thing is that I can't download the games I payed for... Can anyone help me please?

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues logging into Origin.
I set a temporary password and was able to login as you without any issues.
Please make sure you are using the same email address that you login to the forums with to login to Origin. The password should be the same as well.
If you continue having issues, go to http://profile.ea.com and login. Then change your password, update your account and try again. If you still have issues logging in, please let me know.

I downloaded Origin about 2 weeks ago and I'm having the same problem, it won't connect. I've tried opening the ports as was suggested on the support site, but it didn't work at all. What's the Problem???? server broken or what?????

I have the same problem, i can't connect to either www.origin.com or with the origin client from my home connection, but if i try with the same laptop from another connection i can (tried from work), i think my isp is being blocked by EA.

I was able to set a temporary password and login as each of you to Origin.
To isolate the login issue, what error message are you receiving when trying to login?
What antivirus and operating system are you running on your PC?
Here's an FAQ on disabling the User Account Control for Windows Vista/Windows 7, which can occasionally cause connectivity issues: http://support.ea.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/380
Also, I would recommend, as a test, temporarily disabling your antivirus/firewall to test if this is blocking the connection and login.
Please let me know if you have further issues.

Just got an email from EA to join BF3 Alpha trial, and I can't connect to Origin for some reason...
Ive tried to disable my AV/Firewall and still doesnt work

Is this the first time you have tried connecting to Origin, or have you connected to Origin successfully in the past?
What operating system are you running?
Can you bring up your Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+ESC)? Click the Processes tab and sort by Image Name and make sure we can see the entire name of the .exe's. Post your processes here.

I did in the past, and when i tried to play BFBC2 it couldnt connect either... it was probably some software on the background blocking EA server, anyways, ive formated my pc and its now fine! Downloading BF3 alpha at the moment, sorry i just couldnt wait x'D

It seems like alot of people have this issue. once i redownloaded the sims 3 it asked if i wanted to download origin. I thought all was well so i went and bought a couple games for digital download. Well i tried to log into Origin for the first time and it wouldnt let me. I really dont want to have to waste close to $90 because i cant log in.

Hi spidermonkey1914,
It looks like you may be running Norton AV. That could be what is blocking Origin from running properly. Can you add both Origin.exe, EACoreServer.exe, and probably OriginClientService.exe should be added to your list of security exceptions.

It seems that this topic is getting good traffic so I will post here as well. When I try to log onto the Origin client it tells me that my username and or password is not valid. It is the same username and password that I just typed to log onto these forums and I have double/triple checked that I am typing them correctly.
The client was working fine about 15 minutes ago but now it won't let me sign in.
Well it seems I found the problem..it says authentication servers are down at the moment. Is this true or is there just a problem with me connecting to it?
