Would just like to post suggestions for madden 11 or 12. Things that I think need to be improved. The draft has no where near enough stats to draft a player. No 40 times, bench reps. Usually miss on my first rounder and hit on my 5th rounders. Also, keeping track of players drafted or signed. It says what round the player was drafted but not what team drafted him. used to be way better anyways. The draft used to be my favorite part, now i dont enjoy it. During the pro bowl, could someone please tell me why we cant have the players wearing their actual team helmet and NOT afc-nfc helmets? Its way easier to keep track of your players. During a game in franchise mode, why is it that Im constantly getting Bengals history lessons when my selected team is the Lions? Every single game I play with the Lions I get the bengals history. Annoying. Been buying a new Madden every year since 1993 so i hope my opinion matters to some EA developer out there. Still love the game, sometimes they change stuff that was far better off the way it was.

There has been a trend in Madden over the past few years. That is that Madden takes 1 step forward and 2 steps back. Graphics are a lot better this year. The new tackling engine is an improvement, but still not realistic.

My biggest gripe is that the skill has been almost completely taken out of Madden. Since when is a juke move a break tackle move? I remember when Maddens had a juke move where you could dodge defenders with. Now, its lock into the tackle animation and see if the slot machine will allow your juke to work. DBs drop way too many balls which means even if I make a great play on defense, its only average. Even worse, sometimes they don't respond when I push the catch button.

Where are the features? It seems like every time you add a feature, you take one out. Where is lead blocker control? Where is commit to run/pass? I'd much prefer those to fight for the fumble which I have yet to find a person that likes it.

AI is a huge problem. Why do I need an All-Pro CB just to cover the flat in a zone? Is there anyone in the game that can play good man to man defense? Where is procedural awareness? My WR can break on a pass before his cut without even looking for the ball? Catch animations are all wrong.

Madden has like a million different ratings, that appear to do absolutely nothing. All OL block the same. There is only one time of man coverage, bad! WRs with low in traffic catch make catches while being hit. My 94 speed WR can't beat an 84 speed LB deep.

Franchise in every aspect is dead! The draft is boring. There is no skill and only luck when it involves player ratings boosts. Stats are not even close to being realistic. You have teams that shouldn't even be in the playoffs winning the Super Bowl so what's the purpose of making a great team?

So you might ask, why do I only say 2 steps back? Just look at '09. It was plagued with many of the same problems.

I love Madden and its a Game that gets better with time so Whatever. My Only Bone is: I didn't get madden to win against the computer. As per the Online play, I'm tired of destroying my competition soo bad that they quit in the first quarter or 4th and only to lose and possibly humiliated by the computer. I don't want to step my game up to beat the computer. I get no thrill from beating the computer. The game is setup for ONLINE PLAY against ANOTHER LIVE OPPONENT. Once He/She quits game should be over. Forfeit the game. I'm Victorious. But all the time against the cpu and I have to take a Loss that I originally EARNED. Or the game doesn't Count. That sucks. And if this has already been addressed i apologize but this is my first time on here and i just got a loss AGAIn to the computer. lol.

this is why madden is garabe, wtf are the people on here thinking, this games sucks just like the past. the game play is horrible, why are player motion shifting, player going through players, ball going through players, the computer slowing down my player so i can get tackled, oline not blocking, the list goes on and on.

Its amazing how much superior this is to Madden. Could you imagine where 2K would be now, if they still made a football game?

stop focusing on create a team/player/new modes...fix the GAMEPLAY issues that we ALL KNOW are on a list of about 1-50. FIX franchise and the ridiculous sim stats....Give us a Sim football game....bring back starting lineups...we don't need them announced, why not just bottom of the screen first series? the little things are gone, and you focus on all this new gameplay stuff that ruins everything...the blocking, the sidelines...so many issues that make the game frustrating.

I'm gonna try and keep this short and sweet.
First, I absolutely love NCAA Football 10, its great, everything about it, could just be shined up.
In my opinion madden should probably follow that lead to help improve.
However, the MAIN reason i chose to post is my frustration in the transfer of draft classes from NCAA to madden.
How is it conceivable that i can create a 5 star player in NCAA, work my butt off to sign him, build him up to a 99 overall rating for his senior year, win 2 heismans, and 3 national championships with him, and for me to be able to grab him in the 7th round of the draft?!! I'm not talking about a Tom Brady pick here. His overall rating after the transfer was 53, and if that's not bad enough his potential rank was only a C.

Uhhh... Lame... frustrating

Are the NCAA and Madden guys even communicating? I don't think its hard to see my frustration here. Please fix it.

this game is making me so angry i play plenty of other game on xbox 360 but my madden 10 will not let me finish a game! i can hardly get through a quarter with out the game freezing it isnt my connection i have installed to hard drive i dont have a wireless connection and i got open NAT type someone help me please!

I realize it's been out for awhile but maybe you guys at EA Sports can fix a few key elements to make the game a lot better and more realistic, before the new one comes out. When I first started playing the latest issue of Madden I loved it, every aspect was so real and a lot better than every year to date until I really started to play more with friends and I started to look more closely. The only reason I even realized these issues is because you guys made such a perfect game it was really easy to point out the problems and glitches. These are the major problems I've been having with the newest game:

1) Glitches:
Footballs and players going through each other. i.e. A football is thrown and goes straight through a player's body, hands, or helmet. A defender goes through an offensive player to make an interception. Players going through walls and field goal posts.

2) Settings:
The setting All-Madden is not the most difficult setting, it is the most unrealistic setting because not one player plays to their attributes. They play way above or way below on what their attributes say they are. I understand All-Madden is there for the ultimate gamer and is there to have the gamer take complete control of said player; however, the gamer has no control over speed, awareness or acceleration amongst other things. Defensive linemen DO NOT make that many interceptions, it is rare that a DE or DT can even catch the ball. Do some research. It's really not a setting thing. Quarterbacks rarely fumble when being sacked or blind sided, the game calls it an incomplete pass 90% of the time and I do play it on All-Madden. It's great that EA gave the cornerbacks the ability to strife but wide receivers strife to, you REALLY have to put that in the game. Another HUGE problem I have is hurry up offense. The quarterback is the last one to the line and it takes FOREVER to hike the ball and that isn't realistic because if it's hurry up offense the quarterback is the one hurry everyone up the the line and usually the firs tone up there to call the play.

3) Penalties:
NO penalties occur. The only penalties that occur are holding calls on field goals (extra points and field goal) attempts. Do some research, there's rarely a holding call on field goals let alone extra points. Knowing there is no penalties being called a gamer can get away with so much which destroys a good game. I could hit a receiver before he gets the ball and their should be a pass interference call, but nothing happens. So it turns into another football game: Blitz.

4) Smaller discrepancies:
- In Madden 09 EA Sports had Create A Play, PLEASE bring this back.
- Can gamers PLEASE create a jersey for our favorite teams. Not edit the uniforms but use the logos and change it up a bit. (suggestion more than anything)
- Please create a thing for SURPRISE onside kicks.
- I love the new Create A Team and the jersey settings; however, you should be able to outline the number with a different color. And do more with the sleeves. Not every team has their number on their sleeves, most have their logos on the sleeve NOT on their shoulder pad. It would be nice to have that option.

Thank you for your time. I understand the issue EA Sports has when you bring out a game like football every year, you cant perfect it and you have a small window to do it in and I have strong respect for everyone that works on it. I just want to make the game that much better. Again thank you.

I just loved M NFL 10. can't wait to get my hands on new release. So far trailer looks Fantastic !!
