Can't connect to EA server for NCAA football 12. Any suggestions to fix this?

One of these FAQs mention deleting Saved data/Saved games, but I would only recommend this as a last resort as once the information has been deleted from the console, it is not possible to retrieve. There are times the saved game data may become corrupt, but I would like you to attempt all the other steps before this final step.

I too can't connect to EA Server even though I am connected the PSN. I also have my PS3 connected by wire to the router. Even set it to the DMZ earlier. So, what is wrong? Is EA Server down??
