Alright, I took out some parts of your message. "Screw you kiddies..." I don't believe that is the kind of maturity you were talking about. "People our age are generally more mature..." That's false because of your first three words in your responce. Exactly, grow up and why accuse the younger crowd if your just saying bad things about them, some of them just play to enjoy it, don't we all?

I guess I kinda put my foot in my mouth on that one, it's just that I'm just frustrated with the situation. Why intentionally cater to a group of younger teens who somewhat taint a gaming community (I'm not saying there aren't some very mature, cool teenagers). The game would be better overall without the restriction of a "T" rating, the teens who want the game but aren't 18 will inevitably get their hands on it somehow, as with MW2 / Halo 3.

People our age are generally more mature, work better in teams, and don't glitch/gank/act like idiots like some of the younger crowd. I hope this game is rated M, which would be a great step in the right direction for the battlefield franchise. Mature, team/squad based gameplay with hopefully a shortage of 'kiddies' would be right up my alley.

I agree about everything but the kiddie part. I play with a lot of people, some of the teens and they are all playing the way you want. What it takes? A well admined server with rules that strive for team play. That will sort out the ones you complain about, regardless of their age.
The rating doesnt mean anything, even M-rated games are played by imature people, both teens and adults.

No matter what it will be rating, everyone who wants the game will buy it.We in Croatia has 16+ for BC1 and I saw 12-year old boys buying these games. So it is better to talk about the special effects, new weapons or new vehicles but not about something that we cannot affect.

Ok so im 14 and I just pre-ordered it for my b-day. My parents won't let me play ms but they say that i can play it even if its m 4 my b-day. Now I still want T for a couple of reasons.
1. More cheap kills from kids that are like 5
2. Less stuff to make my parents cringe
3. more humor from the story
4. to prove a game dosn't have to be M to be good.

I still believe T because of recent beta sneak peaks. I didn't here one F. In fact the langauge felt toned down from the first. lol

Not to intrude but to me the Uncharted 2 blood was worse than the BC2 blood and UC2 got a Teen rating.

Frontlines has similar blood and that game is teen and has plenty of language.

BC1 had strong language and was teen.

Everything is pointing to a Teen rating for me, and a game doesn't have to be M to be taken seriously. Battlefield 2 still has around 2000 servers going for it and that game has no blood at all.

Personally I would prefer a Teen rating just because the game looks like A Teen game compared to Frontlines, BC1, and Uncharted 2 and I don't like how graphic M rated games can be, and BC2 doesn't look as graphic as an M rated game to me.

I myself am a kid.. and agree with what u all are saying, basically u dont want this noobcake 12 year old in your squad talking about things that they dont have a clue about, and tking 3 people at a time. i am new to fps games i do have bf2 complete collection 1943 and bc1, yes i am an average player at times and have gotton into the top three players heaps, bt unfortunately my parents wont let me get bfbc2. i think really the only reason the rating is up is because ders a little bit of blood and more swearing. I think it really depends on the kid some are cool and some arnt, lets just hope da cool ones r only aloud this game...

This is just an excuse, I've seen plenty of annoying players and tkers who aren't "kiddies" and are actual adults. Your age doesn't decide how good you're at games or your behaviour, adults can be "noobs" too.

I dont think that blood is so important.AIX 2.0 mod has a lot of blood(when someone is shooting at you from the front, the whole screen is in blood, like in modern warfare 2).And it is rated Teen.Language is,I think much more important.

Frontlines and BC1 had plenty of language, they almost used every "bad word" you could think of. Also the f word in BC2 is a bit incosistent, not sure what DICE is going for on this one, but at first glance the game looks Teen.

Absolutely no need for strong language, or too much blood.
It does not enhance the experience in any way.

Well I mean BF2 and 2142 are great games and there is no blood.

Mind you, I will enjoy the lack of 13 year olds, hopefully, why does everyone get worked up over blood? It's just a natural fluid that's extremely important to the human body.
