I'm glad the glued feet has been fixed, & I'm glad you're also adding stamina loss for running away, cos without the glued feet, jab & run style would be a much easier tactic for people to use... Goes hand in hand...

This update sounds good. I've been very critical in the past. So, credit where credit is due. I'll be back on in December when this takes effect. Good job EA!

I'm not hard to please on this one. If you can give the jab, "stopping ablity" or atleast make the opponent flinch when eating them, as a tool to keep people off you this update would be perfect! Please surprise me and add this! You've already added the bob and weave to get get close, but that move is to get inside the JAB.

The jab, is one of the most fundamental punches in boxing, as you know. And Ali isnt the same without the jab working properly, nor is Lewis, or Taylor, or Liston, or Holyfield and LARRY HOLMES either!

I need this punch to work right! I need everyone's support here!

Best post I've read here in a long time. 100% agree.

Regarding DLC.....Does this guy look familiar to your guys?

Hint: Notice the Droopy outer corners of his right eye, large jaw, high cheekbones and the lip/thing smile that he does...minus the bitten ear

For comparison...

Loving everything, but like said before I hope they tweak the jab's "knockback" for this update. Not damage, just the ability to hold someone at arms reach, granted they lack the head movement to get inside. If you land 4 jabs, the opponent should react to that, they currently don't.

But as an avid gamer, and a happy fight night (and KO kings) customer (buy every single one), I have to say this is the most amazing and best update I've seen in nearly any game. I mean, this is huge.

Oh I thought of one more thing I'd like to see, but maybe in round 5 if it's not possible - Ring sizes. One size does not fit all in the world of boxing.

Everything else is amazing though, seriously. I'm not trying to sit here and be like "Oh well that's not good enough". Believe me I'm ecstatic. You guys deserve a big hand.

Don't take a break for too long though! Get on that jab issue soon! Next DLC I propose Marciano, Dempsey and Louis. Pretty please.

His has to be the best looking one though.

I actually created this one above. I call it Holyfield 2.0.

For my Holyfield 1.0 version,

I am loving what EA is doing right now. I have been a long time fan/critic of the Knockout Kings and Fight Night games but this current team blows all the others out of the water in listening to the fans. I look forward to using all these fighters and I am bowled over with the ability to modify fighter stats. Now I will be able to modify Julio Cesar Chavez's statistics and make him the fighter he should be.

I have one request EA. Please can you provide an update to allow for more camera angles. I put in Fight Night Round 3 a couple of days ago just for comparison and the one thing that I feel FNR3 does better is the camera angles. I have not had to use the left versus right setup since Fight Night Round 1 so I am surprised that you guys omitted this. Having a referee, swinging or corner camera will make this game complete. I want to see this game as though it was a boxing television broadcast, it just looks so much more dynamic in my eyes; the current left versus right mode looks antiquated. You have already made the best boxing game I have ever played so why cut corners? Implement a rich set of camera angles (at minimum the same ones that were in FNR3) and you have made a game for the ages.

Thanks for listening to us and also a special shout out to Poe for ensuring that we hardcore boxing fans get heard.

It will be a chiller and a thriller when I get the gorilla near the chinchilla!

Losing stamina for side-stepping?!? You like an all out slugfest don't you? I can side-step someone all day and I haven't boxed in years.

Everyone who has played me on this forum know my forte is boxing but there has been a recent surge of players whos whole game plan is to side step and back step literally all fight. To the point where you cant throw a simple jab w/o being countered. There needs to be a penalty for these people.

One thing that does urk me about this update is that all 3 DLC boxers have been in Fn3. This tells me they could have had them in the retail release but they decided to charge us for whatever reason. Would be a lot more easier to stomach if they added a new boxer or 2. Maybe a Chad Dawson and a Andre Berto.

Any clarification on if edited licensed boxers can be used online? I'm picturing 84' Lennox Lewis / Liston with 100 Hand and Foot Speed, Stamina, Left and Right Power, Chin, Head and Body. Anyone else concerned about this?

Do the Knowledge? I'm doing the Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding...my Understanding is you don't want this game to play out realistically. If there is a penalty for every little thing this will turn to the asthma Olympics.
