Bas WILL be in the game as a Playable fighter... He has already confirmed his involvement with the game. However this post is designed to gather support for Bas Rutten to provide the Commentary, when fighting in the Japaneese organisations.

Yes Yes Yes and Hell Yes to Bas commentary for japanese fights please! even if doesnt want to do it you could just strng together his commentary like they did for ufc undisputed. sounded suprisingly good actually

I'd rather have him and Frank Shamrock as commentators for all events because
Ranallo pisses me of with his too enthusiastic comments.

That would be nice but I am not sure how "stringing together" his commentary from Pride FC would work since Zuffa owns the rights to it now : /

oh damn i forgot about that but i really dont like that sort of "in the studio comentary" if sounds so fake ost of the time. just listen to the other two commentators on MLB the show 10. they sound so fake and out of place. Matt Vasgersian sound freaking excellent though

Absolutely yes Bas has the best lines of commentary in MMA or in any sports. Also the pre/afterfight interviews are hilarious. In Career mode that would be awesome. *Liver punch*

in the interview it seemed like he wanted no part in commentating for the game so who are you petitioning too it's not like EA doesn't want him to do it he doesn't want to. so unless he's reading forum which i don't think he is it's kinda of useless don't yeah think

This the way I think they should do it. If they fight in the US they should use the strike force commentators and if they fight overseas they should use the dream commentators which I think includes bas.

DREAM commentators are Michael Schiavello & Guy Mezger. Jason "Mayhem" Miller is rumored to b part of the team full time beginning in 2010.

Thanks for correcting me man I got him and Mezger mixed up I dont know how.

I would like to hear Schiavello commentating none the less. I really enjoy listening to him.
