I normally installed the new patch and played it on 01/12/2010.

but... today 02/12/2010

I cant play he game, on server selection, everything is fine, ping, showing servers, but when i enter the game, it freezes and laggs hardly that is impossible to do something.

Could someone help me? I played softly since i bought it on july. MUST be something more technical cause im not so noob.

I am getting this exact same problem. As soon as the download finished I was not able to play. Is this a very common thing? Will it go away with time?

I Installed the patch two days ago and i was able to play the new maps but since today i don't see any of the new maps, whats going on?

When do we get a * fix for the shotgun slug? This idiocy have lasted long enough.

Another thing, I plant the bomb, die and get auto-switched. When I respawn as a defender, the bomb detonate and I get -250pts for destroying it... How come after a year, this problem is still not fixed?

That's still rampant. How sad indeed, there is no such thing as balance when you can snipe someone in a blackhawk with an F2000 just by pointing at it from 100m away. I understand shotguns are potent in real life, no doubt, but this is a game.... not a training simulator. The fact that I was able to do this a week after it's release to show a raging friend how sick I was of him shotgun sniping, I managed to pull this off flawlessly three out of three tries. Slugs shouldn't of been an option at all honestly. Shotguns in games should remain as a sweep-and-clean tactic for people who aren't focused on pinpoint accuracy therefore shouldn't be a viable competitor against someone with a pistol using it at it's own max preferred distance.

Been gone for a while but if this crap is still going on, I'm still not missing this game so much.

Everyone who is having issues with your patching should have just bought the game on steam. It's been flawless for everyone I know. Live and learn.

Steam doesn't sell physical copies, dawg. I love having my game sitting next to my collection.


Now as for the patch, I went into the new "Heavy metal" map and was experiencing rendering issues which I've never encountered before. I was running around the fields and the grass took forever to render around me. Even when it finally DID appear around me, the next 100 meters would be another patch of earth devoid of any grass. Anyone else having this problem?

I would like to see a fix for the zoom bug after respawn.

It is quite annoying when I spawn, zoom in on an enemy instantly and then a second later, get unzoomed automatically with my reticle still displayed on my screen. Leaving me with the inaccuracy for the shot, and the disadvantage of moving slow.

Hey!

I just updated Bc2 to the latest version. (i had 2 weeks break form Bc2 ) So i got problem with it. When i join to server, i can play 2 - 3mins then it drops me out from the server. I have tried many times but all the time same result. Is there any solution for this? Never had this problem before, so is the patch reason for this?

Ps: Hopefully this came to the right topic^^

also no issues with DVD copy protection or other crap like this..

THIS PATCH SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't play with any friends now! Roll it back!
