I believe there has been quite a number of people (Myself include) having trouble logging onto the Battlelog to view their feed. I searched the forums a little and didn't find a definitive solution so I figured I'd share the steps I went through to get mine going.

The biggest problem I saw was that people going to battlelog.battlefield.com could not get passed the login page. It asks to input your Origin email address and password. This can be a little strange, because not everyone knows that Origin is only really needed for the PC client and it makes no mention of it. I can imagine people looking at the screen and be like "WTF IS ORIGIN ACCOUNT AND WHY DO I NEED ONE".

Try using your PSN login and password here. If that doesn't work, keep reading this guide.

Your next step is to go to Battlefield.com. Click the Login link on the top right of the page.

From here click to "Connect with PSN" as shown below.

You should be logged into Battlefield.com now. Click on your username on the top right of the screen to go into your preferences.

Make sure your email on file is the same you use to login into the PSN network. Then click on the "My Games" Tab as pictured below.

If you don't see Battlefield 3 in your game library, then add it. Frankly, I am not really sure if you NEED to add it or not. I just did it just to be sure. I've heard that you may need to do it though to get if fully functioning. I can't tell you otherwise as I have already gained access to battle log.

Go back to battlelog.battlefield.com. Click on the "Forgot Password?" link next to the "Sign In" button. Input your email address you use to login to the PSN network and click Continue. It should send you an email. Go check it and follow the link it gives you. Depending on your email provider it might take a little bit to receive it. It should ask you for a new password.

You should probably use the EXACT password you use to login into the PSN network. It's really weird how this turned out. EA lets you login to their main network.. which is going to be combining with Origin. But the login and password you use there is not the same as the one to log into the Battle Log Network.. which should be the same... This game is riddled with problems it seems. Not everyone had this problem though.

ANYWAYS! Now that you have changed the password, you should now be able to login from battlelog.battlefield.com using your PSN login information.

PLEASE NOTE, you need to at least have tried out multiplayer or Co-Op to have some kind of Battle Feed.

I hope this guide helps those who still have a problem with this. If you know anyone else that does, please direct them here. Thank you.

*Edit*

This guide is not definitive. Reading some of the comments, I know now that this won't work for everyone. I do hope it helps a majority of the people experiencing problems though.

If you did manage to get access to your battlelog in a different way, please post about how you did it. I can add it to this guide to try and make it as complete as possible.

If you're still having trouble please read below.

Hi stabbietheclown,

Can you please send me your PSN ID, the email address you're trying to log in to Battlelog with and your DOB via Private Message so I can look into this issue for you? Please don't post the information in this thread for security reasons.

I did all that just now and it still doesn't work. "Buy BF3 to access ..."

Earlier in the week, I PMed one of the EA guys on the forum. He told me today that it should be fixed for me now. It's not. Oddly enough when I did what you said, I lost my private messages.

PSN ID: BlairLSKiwi

EDIT: Now I have my messages back and it was EA_Alighieri that I dealt with.

Hi BlairLSKiwi,

Please try accessing Battlelog again now and let me know how you get on. Your stats may not update until you play online again.

If you continue to experience this issue, please post back and let me know.

hey i have also completed all the steps so my PSN id and passw and Origin id are simillar, but i get the same error " buy bf3 to get acces"

i have played the game for about a week now, online and co-op, i have earned some trophies etc but on the ea "my games" section it doesnt show as : "played online" yet.

i wonder if the fact that i bought it through the playstation network store has anything to do with this ?

thanks

I went online and found that battlefeed was at least available. It said something like 'no events', fair enough as I only have one other person on my friends list with the game.

But as for battlelog, still nothing. I also bought BF3 through the PS Store.

Your events start popping up as soon as you start doing multiplayer online. I had the same issue, didn't really start showing any events as soon as I registered for it.

Although I love doing squad deathmatches and being logged into Battlelog on my laptop at the same time. The SECOND the match ends.. you get a notification. You can check on a multitude of stats right away.

I hope this guide is helpful to many people.

Thanks for the tip and for creating a case. The person i talked to was very helpfull and got me to sign in to Battlelog.

he told me to do the following, wich might also help other players:

go to your ea account management page ( https://profile.ea.com/myprofile.do ) and select your PS3 NETWORK ACCOUNT to be your default account. After doing this i could log in ..

hope this helps

I've just talked to Game Advisor and he told me that problem with battlelog is due to servers error but I see some of you can sign in after contacting Customer Support. Maybe someone else could help me?
