Hi, I've been trying to link my 2142 account to my veteran one, but each time I try it says: 'Could not connect to Gamespy. Please try again later.' How do I fix this exactly?

First, I would go the the http://www.battlefieldbadcompany2.com/veteran/ website. The Battlefield Veteran Program was moved to that website some time ago. You can check out your current veteran rank there. Also, if you click on a particular game that is listed, it will give you options for having it counted towards your veteran rank.
Second, if that website doesn't solve your problems, then I would contact EA. I know that the Game Advisors can adjust your veteran rank (with appropriate confirmation that you own the game, of course). I know this because I have had Game Advisors adjust my veteran rank.
If you need information on contacting EA, then look for the “How To Contact EA (version 2)” post on Saturday, January 14, 2012, in the following thread.
