So I understand that Europeans will also be getting a chance to play the demo this Thursday by pre ordering it from specific participating European stores.

We are only roughly 5 days away from this day and we still do not know how to obtain a code for the demo. Does anyone know or can anyone help with this? It would be nice to know where I should pre order my copy from, which primarily depends on where this promotion is taking place.

Yup. I come over to these forums because the UK EA forums are completely deserted, with no info at all. Hoping to find more information here, I find out that the Europeans are kept in the dark here as well. Really does suck for us, would have expected more from the only decent FPS devs and the publishing team behind it, EA.

Would suck if an early promotion flopped. Hopefully it's not an indication of things to come.

This whole Find All Five pre-order, codes etc. campaign is just a huge clusterfuck as far as I'm concerned. Makes no sense at all. Why did they have to make this pointless mess out of something so simple?

The way it goes with every other game is the demo is made available for everyone as soon as it's ready, and all weapons/content already on the disc is available to everyone without the need to jump through retarded marketing hoops, or the risk of missing out on them entirely.

What's wrong with that concept? And what pisses me off is that they're trying to pass this off as a reward for their customers.

2 days left and still a blind stag. No eye deer. Gettit? Seriously, this sucks. They are clearly not going to give us the early demo or the gold edition of the game. EA screws Europeans.

Hey Ea/Dice you guys could at least be semi kind and let our European gaming friends know whats up, like you guys couldnt find a retailer willing to participate, ran out of early demo slots , didnt have enough time, didnt care Etc Etc.

Although In EA Fashion they will prolly post a European Retailer on may 28/29.

This is the next major forthcoming game for EA, and with such massive marketing behind it (I'm talking about this 5 code promotion), you would have expected at least EA staff to patrol these part of the forums to answer and keep up updated on important things, such as this demo promotion. Forums do need more community representatives who are linked between the community and EA.
