More info...
Our community, which consisted of players covering 5 different games (COD4, Warhawk, R6V2, RFOM, and soon Haze) have recently combined forces under one umbrella, No Name Needed.
No Name Needed was chosen for the following reasons:
1) It's an easy-to-remember 3-letter tag. In fact, if you remember 1 letter, you remember all 3.
2) It just so happens that 3 Ns in a row look quite good and lend themselves to a variety of graphics and logos.
3) "No Name Needed" is not **bleep**y or presumptuous. It seems to imply: "We have the reputation we deserve, it is the product of our actions and skills, not a byproduct of a gratuitous, loud or vain name.
(So many clans have names that shout "We own!"...and no account to match.)
4) "No Name Needed" is obviously generic. It's not tied to any particular game and can be used with any game from Call of Duty, to Warhawk, to Haze, to Rainbow Six, to Rock Band, without sounding odd or out of place.
5) "No Name Needed" provides built-in support for a variety of slogans, such as:
- "No Name Needed", "We stand by our actions."
- "No Name Needed", "Our skills speak for themselves."
- "No Name Needed", "On the battlefield."
- "No Name Needed", "Our reputation precedes us."
- Etc.
6) "[NNN] No Name Needed" is easy to remember. I ran a non-scientific test where I asked 4 of my friends to read 10 names and their matching tags out loud. 5 minutes later, I asked them to recite as many as they could remember. "[NNN] No Name Needed" came back 4 out of 4 times.
7) No complicated or imaginary word. Just 3 words.
Our community utilizes something no other clan we've found has...the ability to Plan to Play. Papa Tango Papa is a website and scheduling system designed to facilitate online gaming. There are many other features we uses that are unique so stop by and check us out.
