I am not saying this is the reason the New Swing Mechanic was made entirely, but if you think about it it was the only way possible for Move and Kinect to improve/be implemented.

Last years game they really couldn't of made the Move 1-1 Proportional with all of the different capped settings. Same with Kinect.

Simple intuitive Proportional Swings was the number one complaint by everyone. (from regular shots to putting.).

A Brand New Swing Mechanic would have to be made in the core of the game for the Move to work correctly, also now the Kinect.

The Developers read everything.

And look now! The new system looks incredible!!!!

I have to think they took every controller type in hand to see how the New Core Swing Mechanic should work.

This is of course if the Move Controls are announced that they have improved.

Please stop making a new thread for every Move/Kinect thought you have. You have made over 6 in just the past couple days and it's cluttering the board. This question could have been discussed in any of those other threads you made.

And to answer your question...no, discussion for a tempo swing has been in the works long before there were motion controls on the market.
