To emulate a 360 controller with your PS3 controller should make the game recognize it (the first option is the easier of the two):

Yeah use MotioninJoy. I use it and It really does work. The only bad part is that in order to make some sense out of all of the buttons you should make your own controller configuration. Like setting it up so that the X button id the Up arrow.

i got a problem ... i did everything that says here but my powerups dosnt work :s i use xpadder all the buttons work butr when iwanne use the powerup nothing happens .
