I need help starting BF3. I open origin, log in, click "open bf3", it opens the browser, but after that, NADA Reguardless what I click or install. Been through 2 Windows installs. I'm using IE as default (with utter reluctance). I bought the game 2 months ago and I've barely played an hour of it. Browser based launching is the most disgusting theory of gaming I've ever heard of.. I've never in my life had this many problems trying to play all the games I own combined.

The supplied links have no relevance to the problem I'm having. It's like the links in IE don't open squat, just dead links. I can click all day, *nothing* happens. Also, no proxy involved. Just direct LAN access w/o any setup or IP config's. So I'm thinking if I got a dud copy of the game, shouldn't I get a refund? Payment of non-services rended or something like that?

Have you update BF3 to the latest?

You can right click BF3, choose "update".

Game was up to date. The battlog web plugin never offered to install. Once I installed that it's doing what it's supposed to. Thanks for all the help and please disregard any "negative vibes" I had, spent good money for what at the time seemed like nothing. But all is well now, is there any way to close this issue?
