Dear EA,

I cannot get the "Contact Us" page under the help section to work and I need assistance. I type "Battlefield 3" into space provided, and whenI press enter the page does not continue and instead sends me back one page (to the https://help.ea.com/ page). I consulted the trouble shoot page for this, and there was no option to select console type. The ways to contact (phone, live chat, email) are all greyed out and cannot be interacted with. There have been a few pages I've come across where people have had similiar issues, but there was never a solution offered by the rest of the community. If you could help me out...so I could get some help, that would be great.

Thanks,
XxSickDemonxX

EDIT: I would encourage anyone unable to contact EA help to leave a message here explaining your difficulties. The more posts and more prominent this thread becomes the sooner EA will address the issue.

I have sent messages to the following Admins:
*EA_Isledyr - sent May 4
*dmex - sent May 4
*EA_Ozymandias- sent May 5
*EA_Anvil sent May 5

If I recieve a reply, I will update things.

Ok, raulonfire found something that worked for me here's what he suggested:

1) Upgraded my browser to IE 9. ( I was using IE 8 and firefox in tandem. Only IE 8 works for EA site. Firefox is hopeless)
2) Logged in to support page, and then typed in Mass Effect 3 in the product box(In your case, type in the product name, whatever it is). Then a drop down appears where you can select your game. If it doesn't come at first try, keep refreshing the page and retyping your game. You should eventually get it right.
3) Once you select your game, another box appears. there you can select the category of your issue,(Tech support , warranty etc etc.)
3) Once category is selected, A third box appears where you should select your platform (xbox, ps3 etc)
4) Once all three boxes are filled, the live chat and email features should be available.

Now if you already have IE 9 like I did, and it still is not working than refresh the page. It may take extreme amounts of refreshing the page, even to the point it just makes you angry, but it should work. When I say extreme I mean more than 12 or so times, and I honestly just got it to work the first time for me. When it does work you will notice an instant change; when it doesn't work the text you type in just sits there, but when it works a dropdown box will instantly appear below which tries to guess your product. If that doesn't happen almost instantly, go ahead and refresh the page, and don't worry about waiting because it will never load...trust me waiting and checking back once in a while was what I had been trying.

If that still doesn't help, than just keep posting. Remeber the more people that come to a single post the more attention it gets, and in this case raulonfire found something that works, but it could just have easily been someone from the EA.

I've had the same issue, i then tried starting a forum thread about my problem but didn't get any responses

It seems to be a common problem, because I've answered on at least 3 or 4 in the last couple days. I first tried Friday night and thought that maybe it was too late, and I waited and tried periodically this weekend. When it didn't work, I thought maybe they just aren't online during weekends so I waited some more. It seems that was not the problem either, as the options haven't been available during the week.
So far this thread has only one other reply, but has been viewed many more times. If anyone who has read through this has not commented because the nature of the post seems so silly, than please explain what I'm doing wrong. I'll gladly look foolish if it means I can get help, but the number of others who have had a similiar problem leads me to believe it is the site not an error on my own part.

Dear EA,

I still need help, and the help page still does not work. I have used the troubleshooting page for the help page, and it does not cover the issue I'm having. After entering the product and pressing enter, I am forced off the page and back to https://help.ea.com/ with no progress.
All three help options are greyed out and cannot be clicked. I would very much like to have access to the help page.

I have the same issue here, and i'm just gonna keep bumping till it gets attention. Support.ea.com redirects to help.ea.com, and from there there is no "submit ticket" or "contact support" aside from one contact link, which is broken.

I've been having problems sine february this year and have had no way of being able to contact EA.

I had an open ticket in Feb which got elevated to the "next tier of support" which appears to be the brown filing cabinet as it has been neglected since then.

No wonder EA was voted the worst company in the world in a recent Survey!!!

Is that link really the only contact option? At the very least, it ought to link to something that WORKS. I would be perfectly happy with an archived list of responses to common problems, perhaps with an e-mail address I can send unusual or unique problems to. It works for other companies, why not here?

Same problem here, Ive had had a ticket open since 10th of April and still no response. Thanks for convincing me never to buy an EA product again.

Yesterday I sent an email to 2 different EA admins about the issue with the help page. One was sent to EA_Isledyr, who had posted "Need Help Linking Your Gamertag or PSN ID with your EA accout? Click here!" The other email was sent to dmex, who had helped a user on a forum post. So far there has not been a reply from either. I will leave updates, and I am sending emails to more admins.

Keep this thread alive and we will be heard.

Also having this issue and what irks me is not matter how much you post on facebook or twitter they don't respond. If I didn't love the sims I would never buy another product from them and since I can't get my answer answered I might not even be playing sims since it refuses to install and I don't know why.

Followed those steps still without luck.

At least email should be active if chat and phone are not...

Chrome works fine. idk about IE. dont press enter. type the title of the game and wait. it will populate a drop down box. choose the game in question from that box and it should allow you to fill in the rest of the fields.

dont get your hopes up though. the live chat specialists at least dont do anything except try to tick you off.
