For minimum GFRX card...Nvidia Geforce 9800....you can run on high settings and get 30 to 40 fps minimum, depending on the map it can be way higher.,
And the game will look AWESOME...you see so much more then with settings on medium or low.
And with the latest patch the game runs a lot smoother as well...almost as if they had done some owrk on the game engine itself (although there has baan no mention of that to my knowledge)

Hey guys! I just want to share my experience with bc2 and performance requirments
I had serious latency issues (always above 170) with the ping in the server browser screen starting from 55 ms.
The latency dropped to 120-130 connecting to the same servers as before since I upgraded cpu to q9450 (quad core). Before that I had the E7400 (dual core).
After searching various forums about it I found out that bc2 performance goes hand and hand with cpu cores! Graphic cards with newst chipsets and 1 gig ram will not solve your problem if you have dual core cpu. Of course overclocking the dual core will not help either cause I tried that too! just find a compatible quad core for your m/b and install it.

So Core 2 Duo MEANS Core 2 Duo and nothing else?? I have not problem with this myself, but most of my gaming group consists of gamers who're still stuck with teh old PENTIUM D! What if they're PENTIUM D's were 2ghz? would it still matter?
Heck yeah.....I'd be surprise if you run that game above 10fps if you have an old CPU like that(At low settings).
yeah it is, wow, I might not be able to run it lol.

I'd thought I'd post my experience with this game for anyone doing research before buying it.
I'm getting what's probably mid-30's FPS and overall smooth gameplay with the following:
24" iMac i3 2.93Ghz (dual core, game run through bootcamp)
ATI Mobility Radeon 4850
4 gigs RAM
64-bit Windows 7 OS
Game played at 1920x1200 resolution, all settings high except shadows (medium), HBAO off, 2x AA, 8x AF
My computer can play high-end games but is obviously not a "gaming" computer. The only time the framerate really becomes noticeably slow is when there are a billion explosions around me (like on Cold War where 5398203 grenades are thrown every second). But I'm usually dead when that happens anyways.

Yep ... that what I was told too. After upgrading to a N460GTX, which didn't help at that much for BFBC2
(But other games that don't depend on quad-core run much better)

i dont knw if already posted or must be posted somewhere else, but i had bsod problems on win 7 x64 with this game and only playing multiplayer. each 20 or 30 mins (maybe more maybe less) it stops with a bsod 0x000124 (much more zeros) and then reboots... i read about some problems with x64 os somewhere but not in this fashion. my specs are core i3 540, gigabyte h55m-usb3, 4gb ddr3 1600mhz gskill reaper (2 x 2gb), gtx 460 cyclone 768mb msi brand, 640gb caviar blue hdd, i use a coolermaster silent pro 700w psu and the processor has a coolermaster hyper 212 plus installed. i run the game at 1920 * 1080 high specs with no problem whatso ever on other games like crysis 2 (1920*1080 hardcore), batman, bulletstorm. GRAW (old but nice game). i am running orthos blend test and furmark torture since 2 hs now and no problems.
i was playing on win 7 x86 with no problems. these appeared when i changed os (fresh install)
