just updated the app! i've logged into my Facebook and connected the two (tho i'm not happy doing so), and everything it goes back to the game, it says i have to log in again. is there something wrong?

Love the new update so far. I am trying to get connected to FB but I am having some difficulties. if i do get connected I get kicked off as soon as I select a friend. but I am enjoying everything else so far. I have almost enough LP for the Husky. THANK YOU for getting that to a more affordable price!

Did the update last night, this morning I go on and I see something new above where the bar is to tell you what money you have and stuff like well there's this new one that says NBR
What does NBR stand for and what is it for?
BTW I love the new update, the party boat is cool, that was one of the other things that was added that I love

Hi NizzyX,

Have you tried going to the options screen and tapping the blue circle with the "F" (Facebook button) to log out and then make sure you are logged back in? It should have a message pop up saying "You have successfully signed in to Facebook".

If you have and are still stuck here, are you able to send us a screen capture of the error that you are getting? If so, please e-mail it to me at simsfreeplay@ea.com with the following information as well:
1. Which device are you using?
2. Which iOS/firmware are you currently running on your device?

Also, if you don't mind me asking, would you be able to tell me if there is any particular reason that you are not happy with connecting your Facebook account with the Sims FreePlay? Feel free to include this in an e-mail if you do not wish to post your reasons here. I would love to get your feedback on this feature, if possible.

I'm happy to hear that you are enjoying the update! Please let me know some more information about your problem:
1. Which screen do you try to select a friend from, when you get this issue?
2. Are you getting an error message when this happens?
3. Are you able to describe what happens when you get "kicked off"?
4. Which device are you using?
5. Which iOS/firmware version are you currently running?

This was not directed at me but I'm also unhappy with having to connect facebook with my Sims freeplay game (although since my main game is on an android tablet it doesn't effect me until we finally get the update.) If I wanted to play with facebook friends I would be playing Sim Social that is already on facebook. I also have an issue in that my daughter plays on her ipod touch and she will not be able to take advantage of the party boat because she is not old enough to be on facebook, nor am I going to allow her on it just to play a game. Its bad enough that she can't play the game in the car or other places because it needs constant internet access which, for this type of game, is completely un-necessary.

I only have one question: Is this update coming to Android any time soon? I have downloaded and installed Sims Free Play to my Android tablet, but can't find the update. Also, I don't like the fact that I have to connect to Facebook, because I use my real name there, and I don't want anyone knowing it.

Does the Facebook account used have to be the one linked to Origin, or can I use a different one that does not contain my real name, such as my sister's for example?

Yeah... I'm staring at my Google Play page and it says there is no update.

Android user,is that update ever coming? Do I have to have facebook to advance on the club boat because I don't have facebook?

I have noticed that many players without access to the party boat seem to have the impression that it is similar to the night club, but this is not the case. Please let me know if you have any other questions about the party boat that we have not covered in the FAQ and I will be happy to add them!

With regard to this particular concern, the Sims FreePlay social update aims to connect you only to players whom you are already friends with on Facebook that are playing the Sims FreePlay. Your details are not visible to anyone else, nor can you connect with them via the Sims FreePlay unless you become friends with them on Facebook first.

This update will be available for Android users shortly, once the Google Play store makes it live. We apologize for the delay for Android users. Unfortunately once we pass our updates to the stores, their release is out of our hands.

Thank you for the heads up, Nina. Here's to hoping Google releases the update. Maybe they are still verifying the update or something.

Nina, are you saying that my friends on Facebook will NOT see any info on Freeplay if I sign in?

The only thing that is visible to your current Facebook friends via the party boat leaderboard screen is your name (as it appears on Facebook, which they can already see), your current level, population of your town and your town value.

If you are talking about posts that Sims FreePlay generates on your profile or sends to your friends, this should only happen if you authorize the app to do so through your Facebook settings, or directly confirm that you wish that particular event/item to be posted (such as directly inviting a friend to join the game, or sharing a photo of your Sims).
