I have just downloaded the new update and didn't get the free birthday cake although I am baking two at the moment. Also I have started to build the school but don't have the community centre on my town map. My grandson however has the community centre but not the school! Any suggestions please?

Tried to upload to the cloud as I have not been able to since the social update and STILL cant. I thought this update was supposed to fix that. Exactly the same as beofre it tries to connect for several minutes and then fails.

You should be able to just tap on your baby or toddler and then choose "Have a birthday" without having to interact with the oven.

If you are currently building a facility, all of the other building icons will disappear until the construction of this one has been confirmed as complete.

We have fixed a bug that previously caused Sims needs to not deplete until the app was opened again long after the time for deep sleep had elapsed. However due to feedback from our players regarding this fix we have now added a hibernate function, as well as slowed down the rate at which Sim's needs deplete in this update. You will also find that the more Sims you have in your game, the slower their needs will deplete in order to keep the game more manageable when reaching higher levels with large numbers of Sims in your town.

Tried to grow one kid but is said bake a cake.

And didn't it use to be 5 LP for a cake. Not 10.

Please can you tell me how I can purchase pre teen items, I've looked in the children's store and the pre teen tab is empty, and there is only a baby and toddler tab in build mode. Thanks

 I have a problem I bought some teens furniture when I update .. And redesign a room and when I had finished I closed the shop /store .. And when I open it again I could not buy anything in just this house !!
 It says on the furniture  "object cap reached" .. I don't even know what does that mean ?

Help please I want to buy other furniture

I'm sorry to hear that you did not receive your cake. Please send an e-mail to simsfreeplay@ea.com regarding this issue and we will do our best to help.

The birthday cake used to cost 20 LP, which was brought down to 10 LP due to some helpful feedback that we received from our players. The cakes were also on sale recently for 5 LP.

You should be able to now view the infant, toddler and pre-teen items in separate tabs in the "Furniture" section of the Home Store:
