Like they say main reason why it will take longer for the PC is because they haven't made the frostbite engine for the PC yet so it will take the whole summer for them to finish it. Hopefully we get a little something extra with it.

note 24 player multiplayer is only 12 on 12
people that started playing bf1942 will not like such little servers
and who give a hoot about the consoles pc games are way better and CAN i repeat my self CAN UPGRADE THEM

24 players on a pc server is nothing unless the maps are realy small i dont think that if they are big maps that any one will play the game after 1 year

take a look at bf1942 people still to this day playing it and full 64 player servers
all the 32 and 48 player servers dont get any one in them

(bfh yes i have a key to bfh player )nothing about the game
getting sick of it and its not even out yet
and the fact that one team is full and the other has 2 people in it
witch means that if your on the full team you got to shear your kill with other players
and then if your on the team with one other if your lucky...getting owned

want a war game that relives the bf1942 feel with some new kick in witch tri some ww1 games with this Frostbite engine from what i saw in the first bfbc you could blow walls and what not +more

Stop worrying about the late release...or better yet the "timely release"...would much rather have it late with little or no bugs than something unplayable without 4 hours of add-ons or patches...YOU just take your time and do it right and all will be forgiven.....come out too soon and you will never hear the end of it...Keep up the GREAT !!!!!!!!! work you guys are doing by keeping me where i wanna be WWII.......Damn * and Krauts are everywhere!!! I'm a PC gamer and just today, planned on purchasing the PC version of BF 1943 (Last I heard was a June Release) - I should have checked back - Ouch - 3 More Months.

I, like most others, have purchased BF 1942, Vietnam, 2, and 2142 - Plus any expansions and Loved playing all of them and still do. I am sure they will do an exceptional job with 1943 for the PC, they really haven't let us down from a playability/entertainment/visual standpoint - at least not in my opinion.

To the guys programming these gems - KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO - IT'S ALL GOOD

My grandchildren (I'm only 45 people) like the XBOX 360 - I am a dedicated PC gamer/programmer and my point here is... Expanding these great games so the console players can climb on board is ( *In my Opinion ) really a win - win situation for everyone - More Variety for wicked Multiplayer Battles - Helps keep these games alive. Most of us still go back and play 1942 or Vietnam even today - That gives us more bang for the buck - What other form of entertainment can do that today - Only Games like these.

Although I was disappointed that I would not be able to purchase the PC version this month - I will patiently wait and continue to play the others - Almost certain in the fact that Dice/EA will do the same great job they have always done and we all will benefit with endless hours of fun and sometimes aggravating but fun.

One last thought on Releasing Games - If it does aggravate players on both sides of the fence - Maybe one game released for Console first - then next time PC gets released first - etc...

Just a thought and most likely not a good business decision from a monetary standpoint but may stand off any feelings of being hosed??

Again to the programmers - KEEP DOING THAT MAGIC FOR US - It's appreciated always.

just cuz the pc cost more doesnt make it better, at least having a 360 i dont have to pgrade something every year to keep up with date. im not saying which one is better because thats all up to preference.

PC not better than a 360?
A 360 is just a low budget PC that runs like crap.
PCs are far superior (Depending on spec) than a 360.
We don't get some jaggy-assed lines all over our games that make it look like we're playing the lego version of everything. We can adjust our settings to suit our needs. And best of all, our PCs don't get recalled because they were popping their own GPU out as soon as you played a game for more than 10 minutes.

The 360 is just the equivalent of plastic cutlery, It's cheap, it breaks easily and you can't do much with it other than take a stab at the soft bits.

Finally I feel welcome to a forum that does not have console fanboys flaming the PC. I agree that PCs are much better but unfortunately there are millions more people that play on an Xbox these days and that equals millions of more dollars. So a game company would be inclined to follow the source of revenue. But for now lets be a united PC community and hope for some excellent PC title. Yeah I remember the old days those were nice but don't give up. PC FTW!

Thank you VoraciousBear someone finally gets it, just because some of us state its better for DICE to release console priority doesn't meen we are fan boys. Its simple math all xbox 360's and ps3 play the game not all pc's do, consoles are more price appealing equaling a bigger target for sales. Its all about the MONEY guys let it go....

I have a ps3 a xbox 360 and a decent PC (nvidia 9800GTX)
graphic wise the 360 and ps3 arent as good as my pc
but as far as playing games I have more fun on the 360 and thats because of the online service xbox live. if the pc had a similar online service I would play more games on my pc its just kind of a pain to connect to friends on pc closest thing is gayspy arcade and it looks the same and has less features than it did 10 years ago..
on the other hand I believe my ps3 looks and plays better than the 360 but has the worst online experience of all 3 but thats just my two cents..

Now I think I'll wait for the PC version I'm interested to see how this turns out, In my personal opinion I think Battlefield is its best on PC. I'd like to try this but I'm more anticipating Battlefield 3 and the return of teamwork meaning the original medic and support classes plus bigger maps

Enough with the list. Im about to giving up playing WoW to go back to playing 1942. Its that fun. I bought 2142 and played for a couple weeks on my Mac. Honestly, it kind of blows. I looked into the mac version of 1942 and decided to install windows on my mac to play the PC version of 1942. Im addicted again. The planes.... The tanks..... The Friggin Wespe.... The Prince....oh the Prince in Iwo Jima attacking Mt. Sarubuchi (forgive the horrible spelling). That game, with all of its elements with enhanced graphics and the Frostbite Engine. I would love to pay $70 for all of the 1942 maps, aircraft, watercraft, and terra-craft with the 43 upgrade. Guys, I would pay $79 bucks for that. My friends would too.
