I haven't read through all of this but have left a few comments and posted something that I will be updating...
I would just like to note I have just played the PC version and it feels exactly like what I've been seeing in the 360 version.
It is soooo much better than the ps3 version... When I go over a ripple strip or get slight contact with a car, I don't go spinning out of control into the walls and feel like wtf just happened. The steering feel in my G25 once reconfigured some of the initial settings is sooo much better... and I'm allowed to RECONFIGURE THE KEYS (not allowed to reconfigure G25 steering wheel on PS3 version...
The damage is obviously there and I think with the damage actually been there, that is why the game feels so much better and I didn't experience the bouncey weird suspension issues!
The damage looks so much better than the ps3 version... I'm not proud to say but I currently own a damaged s15... and at the end of a drift event the cars front right looked very similar to the condition of my car atm lol... quite hilarious results!
I'm getting rid of my PS3 version I cbf waiting for a update for it, they will never be able to make the game feel as good as I just experienced on the PC... PS3 developers you have FAILED!
I just need a better soundcard now cause the sound on ps3 is awesome...

First; a quick apology for not getting back to everyone on this thread. I've been speaking with the guys at SMS about the PS3 damage issue and they've asked me to let you know that a PS3 Title Update will be made available later this week which fixes the issue.

Thanks for the update, but I'd still like to know why deformation was left out on the PS3 in the first place? Be it a bug or just poor development or lack or time.

Finally.
I will be awaiting the patch, which hopefully fixes the bouncing issue aswell.
I was just waiting for a reply from the site i bought the game from to send it back.
I'll see what the game feels after the patch if i'm sending it back or not.

Thank you that's one big Ps3 concern out of the way. Any news on the servers and the current dev fix list.

Regarding the bumpy/bouncy bit - can you tell me if this occurs during all gameplay or at specific types of gameplay e.g. online? Is there a particular car it happens more frequently with?

There are some other fixes in the UT; I've asked for a list and I'll post here when I hear back. It might not be immediately as there's a time difference between Black Box and SMS.

Yes, that's good to let us know. Would it fix the AI as well?

It is prevalent on every car, but gets worse as you go up through the tiers. The Carerra GT, LF-A and Veyron were the absolute worst off the top of my head... both GT-R variants, both Aston Martins and every Porsche have mattress-soft suspensions for which tuning does nothing, and that's only with the cars I've driven. It is during all modes of gameplay.
It's like the cars have springs but no shocks.

i think its just a matter of the suspension setting. because i think all the car are bouncy when you tweak the setting to stiff, short/longer bump stop.
but the problem is that some of the manufacture races; we don't have access to the car setting.

That's great to hear that it's a bug and will be addressed shortly. Thanks a lot for the response, VancouverBlade - look forward to the patch.
As for the other issues - are you guys sure these are ps3 specific bugs (besides the server issues)? Something like AI doesn't really seem like it would be PS3 specific. Probably better to keep inquiries in topic with the thread.
