Should you have noteworthy prospects within the AHL, I recommand a package between the aforementioned prospect(s) and Campbell in hopes of acquiring a more desirable player. Admittedly moving Campbell may amount to a trying task.

Do you sim your games? If you are playing them I would have to imagine if you can find a player that has high ratings where you need them to fit your style you can find a much better option on defense than Campbell.
I just say don't trade Hossa cause I like the guy. Loved watching him play in a Wings's uni and you will love watching him in a hawks uni (assuming you are a hawks fan).

I need some good defensman that is a stay a home type of player... Do you have any tip on who?? I'm thinking about 2-3 mill in salary... Thanks
And I dont really have any favour team... I'm a swede so... But I do like Detroit a lot

I'm partial to Jonathan Ericsson. #52 on the Red Wings. He should be rating as a balanced defenseman with some more potential (at least a B imo), but I know part of that is some home town bias.
I consider Hossa to be a bargain. I don't think you can find too many players that are around a 90 for 5m. and locked up for 7 years. I don't think Versteeg will ever be as highly rated as Hossa in the game as I think he only has a B- potential.

Just started my BAGM with the Lightning, and my goodness did GM Brian Lawton get us into a mess this year!
Tanguay, Nittymakii, Veilleux... all have one year / one way contracts... and no one wants to trade for them! lol.
This season is gonna be tough, but I love all these new features.

Who should I get instead of Brian Campbell? who is 30 years old and has 7.150 milj in 7 years. Ladislav Smid 23 year old and DFD and has a salary at 1.225 milj for 2 years or Anton Volchenkov 27 years old and DFD and has a salary at 2.500 milj for 1 year? Matt Nickerson are 24 years DFD with 0.500 milj for 1 year? I cant get Ericsson from Detroit because they would have to much salary.

I traded Campbell for Kronwall and a pick or maybe it was a for prospect. If that doesnt work out just traed him for someone on a 1 year contract.

I may need to trade away Hossa because of his salary and his poor perfomance at the start of the season, hi has 3 goals and 1 assist so far. I really need to paycut the salary so I have afford Toews, Kane and Keith later. Any suggestend on who to trade? I think maybe trade Hossa for some draftpicks only because then I can move up Skille to the 3 line and Ladd to the 2 line. Backstrom might leave to and Campbell.
Get Havlat. I traded Semin for him and love him on the Caps. Only cost like $4 mil. Plus he's super super fast and a former blackhawk.

Edmonton Oilers 2nd Season
Zetterberg 'A' - O'Sullivan - Kane
Cogliano - Gagner - Hemsky
Torres - Brule - Blunden
Moreau - Pouliot - Mancari
Coburn - Souray 'C'
Parent - Godfrey
Peckham - Staios 'A'
Schneider
Khabibulin
Trying to move Hemsky, Cogliano, and Khabibulin. Traded Dubnyk for Schneider, and made him my starter. Freed up a ton of cap room and picked up Zetterberg for Horcoff, Truhkno (?), and a 2nd rounder at the deadline in my first season. Got Coburn for Gilbert; signed Kane, Godfrey, Torres, Mancari, Parent.
Schneider is a 83, and has great potential at 24. Hopefully he wins the Calder this season, seems like it is really easy for goaltenders to win awards this year (Luongo won the Hart, but Brodeur won the Vezina?).
