I know; why does anyone care? Same with other natural fluids. Why can't anyone just pull down their pants and do their business in the middle of a park? It's only natural

ESRB says its M
ok, tell me this. If the ESRB says its M on gamespot, you would think on the ESRB website the game would be on there with the M rating, right? wrong. It isn't official. Not until its on the ESRB website.

He may be related but he is not a dev for bf 2142 or a spokesperson for esrb. He just looks like he is there to pump people up and pontifficate about bf 2142.

It should be teen, teen games can have language and blood... I've seen nothing that looks like an m-rated game to me...if you compare the BC2 videos to something like UT3 or something with gore and such...THAT's usually what makes a game M.

I'm willing to bet that singleplayer factors quite a bit into the "M" rating. Not just the multiplayer aspect....

Yeah but the guy wouldn't really be saying so much if he didn't know anything, or else he would be giving out false information and make the company look bad. Besides, it seems like he can get info around higher places, so he might be right.

The problem is the game has yet to be officially rated, and usually with an M rated game people like GT and such would put age verification of the videos, also the site allows 16 year olds and up which is just..Just the EU rating. 16 EU ratings can be rated Teen in north america.

OMG! Blood does not constitute an M-rating. Plenty of games who have way more blood than this and are rated T. The f-bombs... not so sure but if they are sporadic it would either get a high teen rating or a mild M. The game really does not look that bad. Some of the swearing came from player mics and in single player but i won't play 1P since Multiplayer is where its at.

after what just happened in my game I kinda want it rated M.
There was this like 8 year old kid with a mic and he was signing and wouldn't stop following me around. So i jump in a car and drive off. Well I re spawned at the base he was on and i run out and he shoots me for driving off and not stopping.
As much as I would have liked it to be T, I now just want to get rid of these 8 year olds that don't know what they are doing and then they kill you.
I never had a problem with those kids till now.

I'm 14 and I have already pre-ordered. No matter the rating, I'm getting it. I was playing today and a little kid was singing in the mic. Not only was he singing, he was rapping. This kid is like freakin 8 years old and he is getting on my last nerve. Finally, he calls a motorstrike on my sniping position. As you can tell a little 8 year old probably won't be able to kill me. I am happy to say he left the match after getting owned a lot. I don't want kids that stupid playing BC2. I'm ok with a mature 13 or 12 year old, but not a little "kiddie". I would like it if the game was T, then my parents wouldn't cringe as much. We as a community should maybe put a stop to the "kiddie" kills on the original BC. Then maybe less "kiddies" will buy the second. Better yet, have DICE include a shock collar that latches on to them and every time they teamkill they get shocked. Just an idea.

To be honest I have now reached the *adult stage* of being 18 and I now honestly don't care if its rated M or T because most have there set backs.
The T Rating keeps the tradition from all Battlefield Games even BFVietnam (which had blood in it) however it brings the annoying little kiddies to the game (not saying they are all annoying)
The M Rating keeps the little kids away (well some of them) however it does get rid of the 13-16 year old age group from buying the game which decreases sales to DICE/EA (however sales don't necessarily mean a better game.)
However this is just my opinion.

Concluding statement: There's the slightest difference if its T or M. If you could mute little kids, than T would be fine.
I think this should be rate E, cuz this game is so awesome it deserves to be played by "everyone"
