I'm not hard to please on this one. If you can give the jab, "stopping ablity" or atleast make the opponent flinch when eating them, as a tool to keep people off you this update would be perfect! Please surprise me and add this! You've already added the bob and weave to get get close, but that move is to get inside the JAB.
The jab, is one of the most fundamental punches in boxing, as you know. And Ali isnt the same without the jab working properly, nor is Lewis, or Taylor, or Liston, or Holyfield and LARRY HOLMES either!
I need this punch to work right! I need everyone's support here!
totally agree!!!!!
This needs its own thread, hopefully they can slip this into the update!
Yup 3rd or 4th

I hope it gets bumped up early, Because people will have spent their cash on Assassins Creed 2 and COD Modern Walfare 2 and that will probably screw up the sale on the DLC.

I tried to tell them that. DLC should have been released monthly while the game was hot and still in everyone's game machines. Kind of silly coming out with $10 DLC 5 or 6 months later on a broken game that needs patches and has probably been shelved by most people by this time. Only hardcore FN/boxing fans will be buying and they've missed the window on mainstream casual gamers. I wonder how much the sales & marketing managers at EA are being paid for making these genius decisions. No suprise I've spent a majority of my career in corporations seeing such decisions being made by guys on serious coin...................... not that I'm bitter or anything.

You hit the nail on the head. They need to stop neglecting us for the casual fans dollars because they will buy it anyways like every other talked about game.

I agree man, we need cheap dlc for like 5 bucks...the game price has been dropped so why do we still have to pay 25 percent of the games price for a few boxers

There are plenty of gamers still playing it, I was never a boxing fan (before playing FN4) and I am still playing the game, sure I play other games, but lets not go saying that all the casual gamers are leaving, just because more "hardcore" boxing fans post on the forums.

That's not what I said or meant. Where did I say 'all' the casual gamers are leaving. Read it again and you might see what my points are.

10 bucks is alot of money for not alot of content. The classics fight is something that should have been in the game since day 1, as it was in most other previous incarnations of fight night and knockout kings, Hopefully we can get another fighter added in that DLC pack to make it worth 10 bucks over the last one, cause 3 fighters doesnt cut it when you got more fighters in the last one for less money.
There is still plenty of current fighters that can be added to the game, and EA you should really look into adding some new commentary tracks into future DLC packs, as after 700 fights of hearing the same thing it removes you from the immersion factor.

People in this topic need to read more from the other blog EA put. You can buy everything seperately some of you are really stingy. These guys busted their bums for us for a free patch that most developers would not do, then they give us 2 boxers I thought priced themselves out (Holyfield, Liston). Plus they are giving us 2 modes and yall don't want to pay? Damn sometimes I wonder why Brizzo should listen to us if all he gets is ungrateful comments without reading. Seriously guys look before you read.

I think $10 is a good deal. If you want more DLC to keep coming and maybe other improvements you better stump up. My only beef is that EA didn't have DLC and other content lined up on a monthly basis. If EA see poor returns on DLC sales you can forget future DLC content. They are trying and have finally got the tournament mode up and running after a few false starts along with the patches and 2 decent DLC content packages ( Holyfield, Hopkins, Liston, De La Hoya, Klitschko Brothers). If the patch does what it is supposed to do I'd buy $10 worth of DLC a month if it meant I'd see Marciano, Louis, Eubank, Mayweather, Abraham, Wiiliams, Benn, Hamed, Pep, Johnson, Dempsey, Bowe, Haye, Khan, Kessler, Ward, Gomez, Nelson, Jofre, Marquez, Vasquez, Trinidad, Holmes etc. etc.
The other thing that needs fixed is the weight classes, HEAVYWEIGHT & MIDDLEWEIGHT & LIGHTWEIGHT just isn't cutting it.

The monthly DLC thing, is a good principle in thinking but boxer's now a days like money. And they want to gain a lot from DLC. Some are willing to go for a cheap prices but others want a ton of money But EA also does get DLC boxers to appeal to the majority of players. Would players purchase a pack of Mayweather, Hopkins, and Berto or would they rather buy Eubank, Froch, and Benn? I know most smartyouknowwhats on this board will pick the latter but since I'm the only one with a brain who thinks before I complain, I know who the casuals will pick.

This is what I keep trying to tell the fans. Why would they invest in high profile boxers that they don't make their money back from....DLC support is the only way to insure that we get more of the boxers we want.
