Much better rosters this time around! EA fixed the jersey numbers. Woywitka is finally on the team. Carl Hagelin is in the update as well. And to my surprise, even the lines are correct. Nicely done whoever did this update.

I checked, jersey numbers are NOT fixed..

I didn't even check everyone, but at least half of the team has wrong numbers

Try downloading the rosters and saving then check the rangers without making any roster moves. The only thing I could think of that gives you these wrong numbers is a common glitch that if you do some player movement, players on the roster revert to old numbers. It has happened to me plenty of times and is frustrating. But for this roster update, the numbers are correct.

No, they are all wrong in HUT, Online Leagues, Be A GM Mode, Be A Pro... online versus is pretty much the only game mode with correct numbers

I would say 40-50% of the NHL players on this game have the wrong jersey numbers. 8 out of the 20 players on the Bruins have wrong numbers. I just listed 9 Rangers and I didnt even check the whole team, so there are probably more

im playing first season in Be A GM (obviously with the Rangers) ... i go to Coaching Options > edit lines > AHL and go to Defense ... Pavel Valentenko is on my starting roster ... cool

... if i go to GM Options > Contracts and click "X" for In The System players ... no Valentenko ...
... if i go to GM Options > Roster Moves and click "Y" for In The System players ... no Valentenko ...

... BUT ...

... if i go to GM Options > Free Agency > Free Agents and arrange the list alphabetically ... i scroll to the V's and there is Pavel Valentenko ... so how is it that i have him on my AHL roster but yet he is a free agent?

The player (in NHL 12) is not not signed to your team. Other teams can sign him from the free agent list.

I t took me awhile to figure this out, but with a little research and help from operation sports and the EA board I was able to get my answer. You will noticed there are a handful of players not listed in either trade screen or roster moves.

You can either sign him via through free agent or under contracts (I think). Then you will be able to trade or make any roster moves

i get that ... im just confused as to the fact that if they arent signed to my team in Be A GM then why are they in my lineup
