Happen to me too. Sometimes when I have my router plugged in with my computer going. But sometimes it works fine with both. But if I have the MagicJack plugged in my computer I can never sign in. I guess its very picky with connections. Today I had to reset my modem and just have a direct connection and I signed in.

I have to say, in all honesty, this is one of the biggest travesties I have ever seen regarding videogames. EA has developed one of the most fun games ever made...a true classic franchise in the making, only to be marred by such a poorly designed online service, EA Nation.

Seriously EA, please scrap this whole idea and give Skate a regular and standard online service! Y'know, kinda like the majority of other videogames with online multiplayer?

Is it so hard to just do things normally EA? Why do you feel the need to screw around with something and try and to make something unique? Why not simply put a standard "Search for online and play" type feature in the Skate games, instead of this God awful EA Nation crap? Do you *NOT* realize how poorly conceived this feature is? How it causes people to have random disconnects and signs them out several times during the game? How it often prevents them from signing in and being able to play Skate?

The online portion of this great game needs a massive overhaul and *-canning EA Nation would be a wonderful start!

Yeah, my guess is that EA Nation is something bigger than one developer branch of EA can change or ignore. I'm guessing it's required they implement EA Nation into the game. There are benefits of having your own server and if you don't have enough server space, then there are downfalls.

I have two MyNeonSaysHi personas for some reason and I want to get rid of one. I believe thats whats messing everything up for me anyways. I tried to contact EA, no response. Plus its a paint just trying to contact them.

so i just want to say that you have to be more faire in your games .for example in nfscarbon there is some * things who make the player going made.the cars is flying beside u like if u r on foot and they have cars.in some challanges some people feel that you made the game to not give chance for wining.i know alot of peoble who deleted nfs forever because of that..im agree with u if u make a diffecult track but not airplanes vs some body like walking beside them.be faire and evrybody will like ur work.

I have spent the entire time I have had the game emailing EA, each repsonse: Sorry you have to give us more info for us to diganose?!?!?!?! Not impressed.

Spent 1.5 hours on live chat, tp be told I have to escalate your problem you will get wait for it and email...........

Its such a joke. I am actually considering binning skate2 and getting its 3rd rate cousin Tony Hawks just so i can do some online skating!

guys .. 5 seconds after i sign into ea nation.. my game BRICKS AND BRICKS HARD the music still goes but the menu is frozen solid can only ps3 button out

This is so weird my EA Nation connection worked well for over a year I never had any problem connecting to it(maybe 3-4 times and I just turned off then on the xbox and it worked well).
Even when I cahnged my GT it still worked good. But I believed they decided lately to link every EA account to an email adress and since then it fails.
I have an email linked to my account since the beginning but now when I want to connect to EA Nation (on Skate 2 only it works on burnout paradise) it fails instantly and then asks me an email adress and a password.
So I write them and it still fails (even though it is the good password/adress combinaison).
Since Friday I tried a million times to connect and it never worked...
I went on the website and it said my account was not "verified" so they resent me an email I cliked on the link they gave me to verify my account but it still does not work.
I am really disturbed cos I filmed a big bunch of footage lately and I cannot send them (my fl deadline is march 29th HELP).
Seriously EA Nation kept on failing ever since the beginning and they never ever fixed it !
