Update 9:39 am PST: In approx. 20 minutes we'll be bringing NA West 3, Antarctica, and South America down for server upgrades. Players in these servers will be notified. Stay tuned for future updates.

Thursday March 14th

Update 9:24am PST: Our servers will be undergoing scheduled maintenance throughout the day. Some servers will go offline during this period. This will not affect cities saved on these servers. Players will be notified in-game before a server is closed for service. Thanks for your patience through this process.

This weekend, we've successfully upgraded EU West 1-4, EU East 2-3, and Oceanic 1-2.
Today we are upgrading the NA servers, starting with NA West 1-2. These servers are currently undergoing the upgrade and we’ll let you know when they return.

We have just added an additional server Asia, to alleviate the heavy traffic we've encountered with our fans wanting to play the game. The additional server will help with latency and connection issues players have been experiencing. That’s 22 servers to play on now!

Update: 12:14pm PST: We have made great progress on the server issues over the past couple of days and are very pleased to say that this has improved the playing experience for a lot of our fans. We have already rolled out three patches that have fixed a number of bugs, as well as bringing a total of new and improved servers up to 9. That means 21 in all.

We are continuing to improve the other servers, and to that end today (March 10th from 12pm PST) we are aggressively undergoing maintenance and adding capacity to meet demand. Some servers will go offline throughout this maintenance period and performance may fluctuate. Wednesday March 6th

Update: 6:00pm: All servers are live but are currently experiencing heavy traffic. We're working to alleviate this. In the meantime, we recommend joining servers listed as 'Available'.

Update: 4:04pm: We successfully issued the patches for NA East 1, EU West 1, and EU West 2 and they are all now officially re-opened.

Update 2:18pm: We are applying patches to EU West 1 and EU West 2. NA East 1 is still being worked on.

Update: 1:55pm: We successfully issue the patch to NA East 2 and it is now officially re-opended. NA East 1 is still being worked on.

Update: 12:24 We have successfully issued the patch to the Oceanic 1 server and it is now officially re-opened.

Update: 12:14 Our server teams are working around the clock and they’ve added four brand new servers to accommodate player demand. It’s important to note that those servers are region free, so if one of our servers is busy, jump into another one and you will be able to play the game.”

UPDATE: 1130am: We are still working on Oceanic 1 server and are about to apply the same server patch to NA East 1 and NA East 2. This will be starting around 11.40am PST. At this time all players will not be able to access this server. We thank you for your patience while we do this update. We will let you know when NA East 1 and NA East 2 are back up. In the meantime you can chose any other available server to play on.
