very often, when i wanna edit my skater, my game gets stuck in the loading screen. it doesn't freeze, it just won't load. only thing i can do is to go back do the dashboard and reload my game.

the problem is, i can't make out when it seems to happen, sometimes i edit my skater very often during a session without any problems, sometimes, like today, i haven't been able to edit my skater even once. annyoing to say the least.

i deleted my cache more than once, sometimes it seems to help, sometimes it doesn't. in other words, it doesn't seem to be the source of the problem.
i have the game installed, my elite is maybe 1 1/2 years old.

i try to switch loactions, but it doesn't seem to help as well.

my buddy has the same problem and i know there was someone posting this problem on here a while ago.

anyone else facing this problem? any workarounds?

i also had problems joining an online session today. had to restart my game 3 times till it worked. same problem, gets stuck in the loading screen. best thing was, when i quit the online session, it got stuck again.
no idea if those two problems are connected.

Does this happen alot? Cuz I've had that once, I just dashboarded and it was fixed. Mine isn't installed though and my Xbox is the same age as yours.

It probably all has to do with EA nation.. such as getting online graphics to your skater, and using EA nation to play online.

The CAS happens to me a lot too. Only fix is dashboarding, hoping it works.

it varies. but it gets more lately. and when i finally make it into edit skater, the graphics i sent to game won't show up.

yes! this is the biggest BUG for me right now..

i get into this edit skater menu maybe 1 of 5 times, if im lucky.. ive done all the things stevland said in the op, and i have the same experience.

its bad enough we only have 4 slots of custom graphics, but now we cant even access those!

ive had more luck getting into the meny after having played the game for a while, rather than just going for it once i start it up, but as stev said, i have yet to find out when and whats causing the freeze/permaloadingscreen.

It says i have 4 old graphics and not the 4 that it says i have on here. Doesn't make any sense.

happens to me on ps3 all the time, no matter how many times i quit out and go back into the game it happens
I have to reset the console for it to work again

EDIT:Haven't been able to get onto cas for 2 days now frozen like 30 times in a row, it's started doing it sometimes when i change location aswell

Having the same problem. I can't get into edit skater at all in the past few weeks. So sick of my gear and have some rad custom boards to ride!!!!

Any fixes?????
