So you say, what is the “scientific experiment”? This is what I started doing and I was immediately amazed.

When I select ranked match and I am paired with my opponent I turn my back until the match is about to start. That way I do not know what rank the player I am playing is. I have had some of the most amazing matches with someone with half my rank and have wiped some people 3-0 and at the end of the match I realize they are ranked well above me. I mean you will really be surprised but most of all I am playing my best now because I play everyone the same.

We are L0WSC0RES (Americans) we usually play weekdays between 5-8 PM ET which is about five hours behind France. That would be about 10-12 PM in France and England

On weekends we usually can play anytime so just post times that work best for you and we will try and come on so we can play some top competition.

We will rematch over and over we are not scared to play good teams like TWOCHIEFS and other teams seem to be.

Maybe we can send friend request so we can invite teams and play other matches as well..

Topic 1: Being a S&V predominantly, I get quite a few lobs tossed in my direction, most of the high arcing variety. I've only been able to smash a few of them, but never really could determine the motion necessary to do it consistently. I went to practice to try and figure things out, but to no avail. Any tips on this would be most appreciated as I'm an avid S&V.


Topic 2: Which motion is necessary to perform those really high "moon" lobs? I've done my best with passing shots against the likes of Becker, Sampras, and other S&Vs. However, being able to send a ball way over their heads when they get in tight to the net would really ease a lot of pain, lol. I tried using the old Wii Sports way, but that only gave me medium height lobs that barely flew past the service line.

Also, when is the best time to send a lob? When the S&V are in tight to the net, or when they are at the service line?


Topic 3: Ok, I've browsed through various threads about serve speeds and abilities, and I've found a mixed bag of builds for other player types but the S&V. I know that they have a sort of bad rep online, but I'm an old school sort of guy when it comes to tennis. I like to end points before they begin. Currently, I'm a 5 star S&V with Roddick's serve, Hewitt's speed, and McEnroe's volley skill. more than half of your customers who have bought this game have complained about THE CONTROLLS

so your solution for the more power consoles is "oh lets do the same thing" really?

i cant believe the people in charge rather have the player more frustrated than playing the game with fun.

C'MON EA i really hope you dont settle for the controlls for the future all about motion movement its so weak.

look at your sales for this game, they have failed because yeah its nice for people to move and all but it gets old and the controlls suck.

Have a bit of a bug/error going on. Whenever I finish a game and go into messenger to contact the opponent it says that everyone is offline and I can't message or friend request anyone. The same thing has started happening in Tiger Woods 10 as well. Anyone had this problem before?

I'll get us started with the first uploaded match I participated in (I didn't do any recording/editing but you can see that since its not my POV lol). All credit goes to Playerone (Dan) and his cousin that helped him convert the VHS tape to dvd. This is the 2nd 5 setter we've played so far, both going the distance. Since youtube is kinda lame in that videos are limited in size and length he had to split up the match (~95 mins) over 12 parts. He put the link to the next video in the info for easy viewing too.
