If uppercut is the strongest punch in the game why is it a p*ssy punch against the straight

i played OWC the guy was only throwing straights with backsteps

ME
Counters 29/41 all uppercuts - 2 stuns ( with 90%-100% stamina)

Opponent
Counters 13/28 Straights - 2 stuns & 2 flash KO's

I experience this similar statistic against people who use the straight counter all the time. It should really be the other way round if the Uppercut is the strongest punch!

Come on EA use some common sense!

If anybody knows good CAB settings for uppercuts let me know

You might be thinking "Wait Bob, maybe its your internet connection?" But no, alas every other game I own works perfectly.. occasional lag making me jump around the map in a shooter but not fight night lag every bloody time I weave or my oppenent throws a haymaker!! Its ridiculous...

Why?

- [b]Firstly [/b]- In the game when you go to Tournament > Champions of Gaming > News and Info > Rules.

There are three categories of rules (if you scroll all the way down), one for America, one for Europe and one for Asia. However, the leaderboard has everyone in one board. Americans and Europeans playing together in the same tournament even though we have different rules?

There are 11 rule books, one for each participating country, the UK rules state:

Players competing in an individual Game Title will only be competing against other Players in that Game Title and will only be ranked on a Europe Tournament Leaderboard (“Tournament Leaderboard”) for that Game Title.

When you go ingame, there is no Europe Tournament Leaderboard. There is simply one global leaderboard. You can filter the Leaderboard to show only UK, USA, Germany, Sweden, etc, but not Europe.

The rules also make the prizes confusing, apparantly, the weekly champion of the Europe Tournament Leaderboard (which doesn't exsist) wins a Gillette MVP Razor and a Game. However, since the actual leaderboard is Global... does this mean the GLOBAL winner gets the weekly champion prize, [b]or [/b]does the top Euro player in the Global leaderboard get a prize + the top American + the top Asian?

Its all too confusing and I find it weird that firstly hardly anyone is participating in the tournament and secondly, no one is talking about it either.

I have alerted the mods to this so hopefully they'll put an end to it but just to alert you that if the guy starts insulting anyone or causing trouble it isn't me doing it.

Unfortunately some people can't take losing and are too cowardly to face people without hiding behind a dummy account.
