Below is the "classic" Battleship board. Before the popular board game, Battleship was played with a pencil and pad. The board below is going to serve as our battlefield.

Before we start each game, we'll place one Battleship onto the board. The example below shows how this might look:

Using the above example, here's how your tweet would look if you sank the Battleship:

Simple right?

We may be passing out some hints (eg; [i]"your guess of D2 E2 F2 G2 was close - 2/4 are correct!"[/i]) but the rest is up to you. Also, feel free to reply more than once, it might help to gage how close you are to a 'hit'.

When you reply with the correct tweet (all four squares are a 'hit'), you will receive that famous response "You sank my Battleship!".

Winners will receive one copy of a Hasbro Family Game Night title for XBLA - either Connect Four, Battleship, Yahtzee, Scrabble or Sorry!

A few things to remember:
<ul>
<li>Each Battleship occupies four (4) squares.</li>
<li>A Battleship can only be placed horizontally or vertically on the board - not diagonally</li>
<li>"Sinking a Battleship" requires a tweet with all four (4) correct squares or 'hits' in it.</li>
<li>There will be one (1) Battleship placed on the board per game.</li>
<li>Always use the #EAHasbro tag or your response will not be counted.</li>
<li>Place either a space " " or comma "," between your hit guesses.
So, either: "B2 C2 D2 E2 #EAHasbro" or "B2,C2,D2,E2 #EAHasbro" would be acceptable.
If you place other characters in between or don't leave a space, we cannot guarantee your response will be counted.</li>
<li>A winner will be the first person who tweets the correct combination of squares, or 'hits'</li>
<li>In the event that more than one person responds correctly at the same time, both will be considered a winner and receive a game code.</li>
