Hola!
Seems like the publisher in mother Russia has no money to print manual for fifa12, so i have a problem with portnumbers needed to be forwarded on my router, to make an OPEN firewall status.
Please, can some1 post here network ports that fifa 12 uses. With description, if possible.
Thank you in advance!
Dima

I've also applied all these settings, and I also get moderate. Maybe someone from EA can fill us in how to make it open.

Moderate is what it should be if your are connected to a router. The word "moderate" means - "normal or average...usual...typical and OK.
This may or perhaps be the expected result if connected to a router. Even if it's DMZ and correct ports opened.
It might....and I'm not 100%....The only way to get "open" is to make your internet connection wired directly from your modem (not your router) to the console. At least in the PS3 world.... not sure with PC or XBOX 360.

I'm having the same issues (i keep getting disconnected in the middle of a game, but PSN is always still logged in), but I don't know much about routers etc, so, how do I change all the TCP ports/UDP ports etc? Or how do i even check what i'm currently using???
Sorry for whats probably a stupid question, i'm just very stuck here and dont want to go blaming the EA servers before i check all solutions!

Bad news!
You need to access your router with your home computer or laptop.
1. Find your router manual...if not search the internet. Then you can change the settings. What you need to do without getting complicated with ports and stuff......is to put your console into a DMZ (DMZ - Demilitarized Zone - is a term that allows all ports for a computer/ console to be open. This avoids you having to figure out what ports are needed to open. NOTE: A computer/ console in DMZ loses firewall protection and is exposed to exploits from the Internet)
2. Putting a xbox360 or PS3 in DMZ for some gamers is not considered a huge threat. It's a personal choice. However, putting your personal computer would be just plain stupid.
3. DMZ requires knowledge of router configuration menu. How to DMZ is only slightly less work than port forwarding. You might want to go all the way and research Port Forwarding instead.
4. DMZ requires assigning a static IP for your console. This is done by manually changing the IP from within your Xbox 360 or PS3. And then typing the static IP into the DMZ settings into the router menu.
5. Every router is different in how you can access it's settings...read the router manual (if you lost it - google your router make and model)
6. Searching EA FIFA 11 forums will help for info
7. Searching the internet also is good
8. Here is some links to get you started:

For Xbox 360:

is the ISP provider supposed to have or be able to open those ports from their servers? or is it just enough to open them from the router?
checking on portforward.com, it says my router is not able to handle the port forward and should use DMZ which I've done but still says firewall moderate and depending the time of day restrictive

I do love it when people give incorrect answers. why post if you dont know what you're on about?
I have an open status, running from my router to my console.
Moderate is not what it should be, that can hinder your gaming experience, it needs to be open.
as to the OP, ignore what ea firewall is telling you, it is not correct, you'll see it changes everytime you play fifa, even without changing anything on your router. its just another one of their bugs in the game.

if opening ports sounds to tricky to do, log into your router and find somewhere that says set as a DMZ, then you enter your xbox IP address, all internet traffic to your console will now be fine and unrestricted.

You need to allow it through your firewall. I clicked on the start icon then type in firewall. the list that came up included allow programmes to communicate through Windows Firewall. on that list there's a one that says Media Centre Extenders. click on the change settings then check any boxes you like then click ok. Mine was always on moderate till i did this. Now its always open. Hope this works

So, which ports we need to open ? Ports on second post are correct ?

UPDATED OCT 27 2011
I just contacted EA support via telephone...and they informed me which ports to open:
Below is copy of the page link from EA:
QUESTION
Which ports must be open to play FIFA 12 online?
ANSWER
It is recommended that you do not play behind a firewall in order to avoid any connection issues. If you wish to play behind a firewall or router you must configure it to allow the following ports:
* UDP: 3074; 3658; 3659; 6000
* TCP: 80; 443; 10000-10099; 42127
If you have opened the necessary ports but still cannot connect, you may want to contact your Internet service provider to make sure they are not blocking any of these ports.
