UPDATE

Some users have reported game crashes since installing the new patch on PS3 and Xbox 360. We believe this is caused by mismatched data in Creation Centre content downloaded before installing the patch. To solve this issue, delete this content from your system and then re-download it. Here are the steps to do that:

PS3

In-game UGC File Deletion

[Main Menu] -> [My Fifa 12] -> [ FIFA12 Profile] -> [SAVE/LOAD/DELETE]
- Press the [Cross] button and choose delete
- Choose your UGC file
- Delete the file
- Reboot the game.

PS3 XMB method to delete UGC File

- Proceed to the PS3 XMB
- Use the Left Analog stick to move left/right and choose the controller icon to the far right
- Scroll down to Save Data Utility (PS3)
- Choose your file “FIFA 12 - UGC Data 1 Contains UGC file”
- Press the [Triangle] button and then choose Delete

Xbox 360

In-game UGC File deletion

[Main Menu] -> [My Fifa 12] -> [ FIFA12 Profile] -> [SAVE/LOAD/DELETE]
- Press the [A] button and choose delete
- Choose your UGC file
- Delete the file
- Reboot the game.

Dashboard Method to delete UGC File

- Press the Xbox360 Guide button
- Press the [Y] button to proceed to the Xbox Dashboard
- [My Xbox] -> System Settings -> [Memory] -> [Hard Drive/MU] -> [Games] -> FIFA 12
- Delete UGC file

PC

In-Game

- [Main Menu] -> [My Fifa 12] -> [ FIFA12 Profile] -> [SAVE/LOAD/DELETE]
- Choose the UGC file
- Delete the file
- Reboot the game.

File Explorer

- Open the “My Documents” -> “FIFA 12” folder in File Explorer
- You can manually delete the savefiles from that folder

Game Mode: ARENA (starting the game, caching user generated content, after that freezes)
What were you doing at the time of the crash: Get to the arena it says caching User Generated Content to the hard drive, then as soon as thats done it freezes the PS3
Extra info: This is happening every time.

EDIT: FIXED THE ISSUE BY DELETING UCG DATA FILE, I think this is the creation centre files. Got to keep my VP and all saved games.

Extra Info: Yeah, I can't do anything, whenever I put the game in, when connecting to EA servers, My whole Xbox freezes.

Game Mode: Pro Clubs
What were you doing at the time of the crash: Trying to join the Pro Clubs lobby, I went to VIRTUAL PRO > PRO CLUBS and that works fine but when I press "Play Match" my entire PS3 freezes and needs a reboot. When the PS3 has booted up a question pops up asking me if I want to send the crash report to Sony. I've done this 5 times. The PS3 also freezes when I go to CUSTOMIZE FIFA > EDIT TEAMS > CHANGE SQUADS/ROSTERS > DOWNLOAD UPDATES. Whenever the updates are downloaded 100% the game is frozen and the PS3 needs to be restarted (the XMB menu does not respond). When I hold down the standby button on my PS3, the system shuts down and I hear 2 or 3 beeps.
Extra info: It happens everytime I try on of the above operations.

Extra info: I also try the following things after freeze

1) Log out my xbox live A/C, use another temp Xbox live A/C to log in and play fifa
2) Able to get into the area, after that, log out my temp Xbox live a/c and use back my orginal account
3) Able to connect both xbox live a/c and connect to EA server
4) when try to play club match, it freeze again

*have delete the cache before, but still got frozen in the connect to ea server page

What were you doing at the time of the crash: I Clicked on 'formation' in team management, and it froze, it only froze everytime i clicked on 'formation' in team management
Extra Info: i tried it quite a few times by deleting and re installing the update, same thing. only solution has been to delete the update and play without it.

WHAT YOU WERE DOING = Trying to play a game.

Extra Info..............Because of the shoddily put together piece of cr*p creation centre crashes anyway from time to time, i thought that was the reason for my crash. So i tried to reset and download squads, it crashed, i rebooted and it crashed on the menu screen. I rebooted and it crashed when i tried to download an edited team from creation centre. I can play as normal teams. YET AGAIN creation centre seems to be the root of the problem. I noticed on EA Yashas November update post, that hardly anything has been fixed on Creation Centre......why ???

My game doesn't crash, i just basicly didn't get the patch, it didn't ask me to download the new patch and it seems like it has not updated my game!
