I had this 'delay' lag since the day Fifa 11 came out but it only seemed to happen in club mode or when two players or more are playing online on the same team, anyway here is how:


When you come out of the arena alot of players spam click X or A depending on console to skip the team lineups and the players coming. This causes some players to come out of sync with the rest of the game it feels like you press pass and it takes 3 seconds to do it. So the important thing is when the lineups and the teams come out NOT to spam skip, just watch the first 5 seconds of each cutscene and it should be okay.

I had this type of Lag for 3/5 games before I did this. Now I have only had it once in the past 50 or so club games and this was because the rest of the team was skipping the lineups quickly.

I obviously cannot guarntee this will fix it but it certainly did for me, please don't come back here complaining as there are many different types of lag you can get when playing, such as when the screen is flickering and jiggering, this is normally because someone on you're connection is buffering a video or uploading something

Now tested around 80 times, appears this could be the fix for many

This has worked so far for about 5 games. Although the connection in clubs will never be perfect, especially with around 10 - 20 players.

Clearing cache works well for me.

if you mean the lagging player is not to press A, then this doesn't work. Tried it many times and it makes no difference

i thought everyone knew...

also helps to get your circle after a club match. you know that circle that is located to the left of the formation screen? if you dont have it go back to the arena and take a shot on goal and the go back to the club. works for me. (and this guys method also works, im just showing a different way to fix teh lag)
